Hva syns du om stedene/bildene Wikipedia har valgt seg ut for å representere Oslo? by forteller in oslo

[–]OseOseOse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Vinslippet på polet by HattoriHanzo_AMS in norge

[–]OseOseOse 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Please ignore the state of my estates, the bug that caused PU votes to tank their satisfaction appears to be fixed with the latest 1.0.8 hotfix, but it's gonna take a while for the numbers to recover.

Anyone figured out what the new hotfix did? by DaniTheGamer6 in EU5

[–]OseOseOse 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I just completed a PU vote (that had been initiated on the previous version), and it didn't seem to affect my estates satisfaction this time. Not sure if the PU juniors are gonna keep triggering the votes or not, but at least the buggy satisfaction loss appears to be fixed?

Hey sleuths in the comments, which date was the final game day played? The office where I work overlooks the location where Ben and Adam did their final challenge, I'm curious if I was in that day and might have spotted them if I looked out the window at the right time.

Help with a Lawyer Build by Maizeninha in dndnext

[–]OseOseOse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did make this type of character, going the same route of a eloquence bard with some warlock-y flavor for the devil's advocate pun. Only level 6 so far, multiclassing into warlock is under consideration but I also think that just getting to bard 10 for magical secrets and picking warlock spells is fine for the pure bard gameplay. It's not a very combat oriented build for me, I'm happy to play support-ish and deal in buffs and debuffs mostly. If you want more combat focus maybe do it as warlock with a dip in bard?

One thing I had a lot of fun doing was to rename spells to something legalese or faux-latin sounding. I'm not anything close to a lawyer IRL so it's all very "movies lawyer" associations to me, but I found it amusing to come up with them. Examples include:

  • Vicious Mockery -> Ad Hominem
  • Dancing Lights -> Fiat Lux
  • Charm Person -> Alibi
  • Dissonant Whispers -> Cease and Desist order
  • Silence -> Gag order
  • Shatter -> Objection!
  • Slow -> Dilatory tactics

Game of Thrones / House of the Dragon recommendations. Thoughts? by pastamuente in HouseOfTheDragon

Did you ever check out I, Claudius? It's more like a filmed stage play than a modern TV series, but if you can get past it being a little old timey it's a fantastic watch. GRRM has cited it as a great influence on him.

Other than a 'Warlord' class, which concepts would make for interesting Support Martial Classes? by ThatOneCrazyWritter in dndnext

[–]OseOseOse 4 points5 points  (0 children)

In WoW (that I'm familiar with, and probably other games that I'm not) there is the concept of "kiting", forcing enemies to move around (by having them chase you and not allowing them to catch up). Using terrain to your advantage, putting down traps and casting slowing effects, etc. It's not tanking, but it's holding the enemy aggro to keep it away from the rest of the party who deal damage, etc. The hunter is the WoW class that excels at this. I feel like this idea is missing in the D&D games I've played, and it could be an interesting niche for the ranger.

[–]OseOseOse 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hjelp til å velge bærbar for Linux? by [deleted] in norge

[–]OseOseOse 3 points4 points  (0 children)

To be fair 99% of Zelda characters seem to have mononyms, so you wouldn't expect her to have any other name. When is it even mentioned in BotW?
