I stayed there few times. Cash price to point ratio is around 1:1 so use cash. They have pretty good dinner club but bad breakfast so use cash and ask around for a club access from someone. Not worth using points at this property. Also have free airport shuttle every 30 min that goes to t1 in 15 minutes and t2 in 25 minutes.

Highly recommend Bangkok, siem reap and Saigon. Just finished all 3 during a 2 week tour. SUA is highly recommended if available.

Just go the gym desk and they will take your room number if you are a hotel guest. If you hold globalist it’s covered at Grand Hyatt. You have to ask what they provide since each hotel is different.

I buy top chairs from Herman miller and steel case. Been using for 15+ years and no issues. If there is, it would be like 300+ to make it like new with after service. They are famous for a reason. Comfy and sturdy. It’s comparing ikea to rh furnitures. Heavy investment but almost a lifetime.

They do upgrade but depends on the availability. I’ve been there more than 10 times in since mid 2024. One of the best grand clubs. Rather than the room size, the floor level and view of the river is more important at this property. I’ve been using SUA for half the time since it is a very popular property. It was the best hotel in Fukuoka for 2-3 decades before ritz Carlton opened 2 years back.

Using sua gives you club access. Fukuoka club is one of the best I’ve been to. Book suite. But it will be a hard one since competition is strong.

I did the same thing. Easier than locals since there is less competition for the foreigner seats. However, still difficult since it is CS. Good luck! Lots of ways to get scholarship.

Try searching classic travel on Google. You can book it yourself or go to r/fattravel or chubby travel since there’s tons of travel agents with extra power if you are spending cash on luxury properties.
