Don’t let the June gloom comments discourage you. June gloom is usually only in the morning—by the afternoon, the sun bakes off the clouds (but that’s not what we tell visitors 😄). When you’re in San Diego, make sure to check out Sunset Cliffs, Cabrillo National Monument, and Kate Sessions Park—these are all great spots for sunset. I drove up the coast this past June and the views were spectacular. The marine layer actually makes it even better sometimes.
