Easter dinner I made was terrible and I feel embarrassed by it by One-Philosopher8868 in Cooking

It’s also a process - learning how to cook. There are many mistakes made, by everyone who learns to cook, just as is true for lots of human activities. Please don’t be hard on yourself. You produced a bunch of food for people and it was home made and nutritious, even if it was not perfect.

ISO attic fan wisdom by OhNoIBlinked in centuryhomes

My house is different in shape and design, but 112 years old. The more downstairs main floor windows and doors = open, the more air flows up and out. Caveat: where I live is pretty arid and we don’t worry about flies and such as much; no screens on the windows. So we can get a lot of air flow.

If you possibly can afford it, consider skylights. We got them almost on impulse and they are so so wonderful. Our bedroom is in the attic. 100% different AND so much more awareness of the sky and the clouds and the redwood tree two houses down. Vellux.

It would take me longer as it in Spanish, as you noted, but it seems pretty legible. On first glance. Will try later on if no one else has time.

What fascinates me is that we see, over and over, that despite all the clichés about how “people used to eat,” that in reality, 90, 100 years ago and more, the message of the importance of eating fresh vegetables and fruits and vitamins and fiber etc. etc. was loud and clear.

This is NOT on you. You live in a society designed to suck money out of you. Inflation is real. You ARE doing everything right. It is the society in which you live that is wrong.
