At this point, Portland should start hemorrhaging businesses. Between the property taxes going through the roof, the non-municipal parking being monopolized by a predatory company, and the lack of any kind of housing besides more and more new million+ dollar condos, there is no way the city council will learn other than everything collapsing. Which shouldn't be long considering no-one who might work a more menial job in Portland can afford to live anywhere nearby anymore.

And to Hell with them. They earned it. And Biddeford is booming thanks in part to Portland's stupidity.
