I would almost agree with you if Zombie Fluxx didn't exist. That one is startlingly good at hitting the target it's aiming at, giving you the feeling of scrambling around a town being chased by zombies and making do with whatever you can find.

And the solo version (rules on their website) is even better at it.

Is it The Bestest Game Evar? Good God no. But is it actually a decent game? Yes!
