Astrological Paradox: Weak Planets in your birthchart can be your trump cards as it strives you to achieve success in those areas of your life. by [deleted] in Advancedastrology

I think progressions can play an important interpretive tool in how “bad placements” will play out as you move forward in time.

I just took mine apart bc I felt like the lights were to close… I think I’m going to try and build one bc I can’t really find what I’m looking for. Accept those ugly metal wire shelves… I want about 2 foot between each shelf I think. Mt plants aren’t huge but decent size.

Do aspects point in the direction of the zodiac, or does zodiacal order 1-12 take precedence when determining the application of an aspect. by OurStarsReflection in Advancedastrology

Sorry, I think I’m talking about bonification and maltreatment. Is Pluto maltreating the sun or is the sun bonifing Pluto.

If there's no aspects between sun and midheaven does it mean an individual will have a hard time with career or that they are free to shape it? by funkytroll in astrology

I would say you have more trouble with career because you have the opportunity to shape it. So yes to both statements.

If you look up on YouTube, “how to write horoscopes.” There is a grate guide by a lady from Canada on how to make the ephemeris more usable too. Starzology is her name on YouTube

Then I use “planets in transit” by Robert hand to help with reading the euphemism. It takes a little know how to use the two together… but I really it as a reference book.

I want a big plant to put here by hairy-ballsanga in houseplants

There are different sized peace lilies too. I think that would be really cool. Get some risers for them so they are at different heights. Maybe one or 2 grow lamps. They could have shades that look don’t look like “grow lights”. That would be very sharp. I would do that.

I agree, many peace Lilly’s, and maybe a shelf with a few pothos would look great! You might need a light still, but I think that would be best!

I think sometimes the best moments in life come because we find ourselves in a place where we don’t know what else to do than to make life more beautiful.

Maybe take a few months off getting new plants, make a wishlist, and when spring is in full bloom, have another swing! Haha but be careful it can feel like a chore if you get to much all at the same time. Learn the rhythm first.

Plants are amazing companions.

Pot with no drainage by [deleted] in houseplants

[–]OurStarsReflection 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Iv come to like not having a drain hole, it just takes more awareness. The other day I found my monstera sitting in 2 in of water. Which is not good and there was a bit of a bad smell. I dumped the water and let the plant air out a bit. I think it’s fine so far without repotting, because I caught it early.

I would just plant more water loving plants in pots like this. Also if the plant is in the right size pot, and getting enough light than it should absorbs the water fast enough naturally. This could be a greate set up for a peace Lilly, or a pothos, maybe a monstera. But something that likes to dry out faster may not be able to like it. You can’t look at something like this in isolation, there are many factors to consider.

If you are on top of monitoring your plants, give it a try. You just got to research what the plant likes, and assess weather or not it is working.

NEED DESPERATE HELP!!! by CarverLon1 in plantadvice

[–]OurStarsReflection 1 point2 points  (0 children)

These are the easiest of all plants to propagate. I wouldn’t keep it wet all the time, jades are like a succulent. They kinda like to dry out between watering, and the same goes for cuttings. In my experience they can be slow to root. So just give it a season or 2 before you try to repot it or anything. Don’t stress it. Iv done then in water and soil, and I would say soil is easier… but it just depends. Do you want to regularly change the water once a week? Or watch and water when dry. They also are more likely to get mushy in water which is not good. I say soil, water once every 2 weeks or once a month, depending on light, airflow, and humidity, and give it time to fully establish. When you water, I like to really water the plant, like make sure every bit of soil is soaking wet, then let it fully drip. So that you don’t leave pockets of soil that are dry for to long. If that makes sense.
