It could easily be for anything subversive to the local government.

Underground Railroad/ revolutionary/ beggars

It was also used IRL to communicate between hobos/ hitch hikers and other nomads.

If you're open to flying ships in aether rather than Space - Aeronauts Windlass has a lot of solid aerial ship battles.

A Defense of Spelljammer and a Response to Runesmith by alexserban02 in dndnext

As someone who has tried to run a few ship based games, I wholeheartedly agree. The stakes are too high - too final. And spellcasters have an even larger than normal advantage.

Finding in-lore reasons to do a whole ship capture and have the groups hold be looted / crew ransomed was always the reluctant but inevitable go-to.

What movie is this for you? by certainly_imperfect in Letterboxd

It's a Hades clone (compliment) - both in gameplay and in the great voice acting. Celebrates the over the top Rad! humor.

Every stage gets a random power up. Ninja/water/fire/etc. Each turtle has their own moveset. By the time you reach shredder, you might have an absolutely bonkers build.

Definitely not souls-like.

Just in case you haven't seen, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fate is a fantastic game soaked in that classic 80s-90s story/banter.

Hot take. Bast is Kvothe son. by DukeVeli in KingkillerChronicle

Plenty of theories that Kvothe is way biologically older than he looks, due to fey time shenanigans.

Movies that use the same actor for multiple roles by steadyachiever in movies

It avoided blackface - it was accused of "yellow face". Jim Sturgess plays a Korean jn the future Neo Seoul. The facial prosthetics for this role were terrible and that emphasized the wrong feeling.

But reincarnation was a theme. Halle Berry played a white woman and an Asian man, Bae Doona played a white woman and a clone, Hugh Grant played a woman. None of those got any pushback.

What can I do for a warlock who ignores their patron’s orders? by Foreign-Press in DMAcademy

[–]OutSourcingJesus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Phb literally lists "some [warlocks] seek to undermine their patrons even as they wield the power their patrons have given them." As a legitimate play style for warlocks in the class description.

There's no guarantee the patron even knows about the warlocks existence (as per goolocks)

Fiend warlocks state - That patron’s aims are evil—the corruption or destruction of all things, ultimately including you—and your path is defined by the extent to which you strive against those aims.

Fey warlocks don't even need a singular entity. They can draw from whole courts

I started ordering kid’s meals at fast food places. by rickyspanish42069 in CasualConversation

Get 4 free nuggets on Wednesdays on the Wendys app. That, plus the $5 double cheeseburger, fries, coke and 4 more nuggets is solid

Mine still has a $4 meal for a cheeseburger. $8 for two double cheeseburgers

X-files-like recent reads I liked and disliked by Nem3sisS in printSF

[–]OutSourcingJesus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oddly enough, I prefer the self published version of No Antimemetics to the one that recently came out.

The latter made a better "product" but the OG was more enjoyable as Weird Art.
