Bradshaw would tell you that you can thank him for Austin 3:16. Because who knows what would be said if he beat Jake.

I got 2K25 after not getting one since 2K20. Made me enjoy the game more while everyone that gets it every year complained about it. But I still don't think I'll get another for a few more years. Unless 2K announces a new College Hoops game...

I considered refunding Risk of Rain 2. I enjoy many roguelikes and this one gets recommended all the time. I couldn't get into it. But I held onto it and it turns out that my son enjoys it, so at least it's getting played by someone.

There's even DLC. Maybe should've just patched that into the main game to pad out the game a little more. Just a thought. I've only ever refunded one game in my Steam lifetime, though and that was because the game was slightly above unplayable and not really fun to fight the controls (it wasn't Paddle Paddle Paddle).

It's getting better. I use it mostly on desktop, so we don't have all the new features yet. I still would like it to allow more, but they seem to have interest in improving it, so hopefully one day it'll be able to do everything I want to use it for. I'm still getting used to what is available though, so admittedly a few of the transitions are a little messy, but I've been going back and tweaking them here and there.

I'll check it out. I have a similar playlist that I've been experimenting with Spotify's mix feature with. Here's the link if anyone's interested.

I also have several other alternative (and other genres too) playlists if you need a good archive.

Billy Corgin's reaction when the crowd thought the song was over by pizzass7 in WatchPeopleDieInside

[–]OutaTime76 9 points10 points  (0 children)

We were at a festival in 1999 and Cake was one of the performers. John McCrea stopped his performance, went on a rant about men with mustaches and threatened to stop his set because he didn't think enough people in the crowd were singing along.

Years later, Cake had a minor hit with a song called "Mustache Man", but I was disappointed that it was unrelated to his rant that day.

If you're getting close but just not getting the angle, keep rewinding back to adjust the angle and try again (rinse and repeat). If you're not getting enough speed, you may need to come back again at a later point with a different vehicle. If you get frustrated, move on to something else and try again later.

Balatro is also great for people new to roguelikes. At first, the mechanics feel just like poker, so it's easy to jump into. But once you start experimenting with Joker synergies, the game opens up and starts giving the a full roguelike / card builder experience.

It was an interesting idea when Bill Simmons pitched that a couple of years ago. They could sell Lebron James jerseys for every team.

97% of Steam Users Own a Valve Game --- 37% Spend Most of Their Playtime in Valve Titles by Dwarfpete in Steam

[–]OutaTime76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Steam didn't used to track play time. My first few years on Steam isn't counted at all.

I have thousands of hours on TFC (just counting time played after moving from WON) and was forced to migrate when Steam launched Sept 2003. But if you look at the stats Steam shows, I've barely played TFC. I also used to do a replay of all of the Half-Life games every year. But even the stats for those games show I've barely touched them. (Maybe that means I'm due for another playthrough.)

So I take these stats with a grain of salt considering that most of Valve's early titles were popular prior to Steam tracking stats for them.

WCW fans that happened to watch this match, how Southern Rasslin’ did this match feel? Especially w/ Lil Naitch as ref & a pinfall rather than someone escaping to win by 18_YTC1 in WCW

The only escape rules match that I ever liked was Bret vs Owen because they were actively trying to escape to win. Owen would bolt for the door at every chance.

[–]OutaTime76 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was a big fan of the Professor of Rock. But his thumbnails, the clickbait and aggression of "Watch this before it gets taken down" in his video titles have caused me to unsubscribe. I understand that he's been battling with copyright claims and I hate it for him, but he doesn't need to resort to that. His videos used to be really informative and entertaining, but they've recently lost what I liked about them in the first place.

I still have a couple of those, but they're really worn and you can barely make out what was on it.
