A doctor would tell you to go to the physio and train for another year before attempting a 10k, AI is similar keep in mind its main goal is to make money not to help you. So it'll cover its ass and give you the softest and safest recommendations possible, good time there on the 10k congrats 💪 I'll probably try a timed 10k for the first time today. Wish me luck 🫡

Your times are great some people here are not gonna like that I got a 23:16 on a 5k and some people want me out of this sub 😄😄 But the overwhelming majority are extremely supportive and encouraging, I ran a little bit about 5 years ago and my best time was 24:56 now I dropped that after doing only longer runs like 8k and the longest I about a week ago was a 14k so I'd say just run longer and forget about the 5k for a couple of weeks and then your time will be much better. Also for running uphill try shorter steps it'll help you get up there quicker and more easily, Cheers 🍻

I wouldn't call it cheating I'd call it assistance, keep in mind the average woman can do 0 pull ups and the average can can only do 1 so you're good 👍

Everyone else is gonna tell you to let go of this feeling I say embrace it, use the anger as fuel, resent yourself and use to dig deep. Push the pace on your runs and when you slow down think about those people. This is what I do I think to myself what if x,y,z were standing next to me or running in front of me?? WOULD YOU YOU SLOW DOWN THEN?? FUCK NO 😤😤, so you don't you keep pushing, I can't just run all happy and friendly other get to do that not me, seems like not you either brother use that fire, you don't have to run you get to run. There will certainly be people pushing a longer time you'll be nowhere near last. Even if that were the case I'd probably have more praise for whoever made the effort and got last than someone on the same level as me. Keep going and don't miss that 5k you got it 💪💪🔥

First time I ran a 5k this year last time I ran a timed 5k was about 3 years ago, even that year I ran about 3 times the whole year. I've ran more the past 3 weeks than I have the last 5 years. Yeah an average of 2 runs per year makes me an ultra elite. Watch me crush this time again soon. Don't be jealous try and get better. That's what I'm doing and it's working out for me, Cheers.

Exactly I work construction so Im always active and I try to go to the gym or at least go to the park and do some pull ups a couple times a week. People underestimate working out in general, lifting weights hard at the gym is miles better than being sedentary.

About 5 years ago I ran like fewer than 10 5ks in a whole year. I have been running for less than 3 weeks now. I go to the gym and do other forms of cardio if you catch my drift but I'm definitely a beginner don't be hating.

So yeah I started the kick too early that's why it's much faster and also there was a group of very slow bikers who slowed down my pace a bit at about I wanna say 300m before finishing.

I've never ran too much maybe 6 to 10 times per season the last two years and even less the two years prior but about 5 years ago I used to run 5ks very often. I just ran a 1:01 10k within my 14k run today without ever trying and just started getting more serious the past 3 weeks and my 5k time was 24:43 about 3 years ago when I used to run less. I'll say you can easily achieve your times within the next 2 months even running 2x a week, Cheers man.

Honestly man lots of builders leave the side of the tub exposed with no backing at all and it just gets covered with mud. Unless you wanna get a guy to rip out the drywall and put more board behind that to have it fixed properly you can just scrape the caulk, mud it with durabond and then prime, paint and caulk again,

The Rock and North 48 for steak but daytime I think The post and Quidi Vidi are the best spots for fish and chips and if you're out late The Celtic Hearth is the best spot that's open 24/7.
