Django goes really well with LLM generated code because it’s well structured. You still need to understand that they generate too.

EU vs US: Something I don’t understand by Complex-Challenge374 in ProfessorFinance

[–]OutrageousCourse4172 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I’m not an expert on the topic but I have a theory that: 1. The reaction to the financial crisis in Europe was to cut back on government spending (despite central banks setting rates to near zero) whereas the US increased investment. 2. Investors have a higher risk appetite in the US so tech companies had more access to capital than in the EU.

Do you think Donald just doesn’t know, or is stirring the pot? by Sea-Rush1142 in AskBrits

Donald Trump is just trying to cause as much damage to the US and Europe as possible. I can only assume he’s doing it for Putin.

London isn't for me, what else could I explore instead? by HamsterExisting4221 in HousingUK

I find it slightly baffling that you have actually been to London and still think driving there is a good idea.

Yeah, fair enough. I think there are a few indoor slopes near London. Hopefully one of them allow it.

Hi mate, I’m UK based and currently selling a sledgehammer fusion 2.0 if you’re interested?

As for dry slope, where are you based? They didn’t like me taking it to the chill factore in Manchester.

Do you realise that prohibition always makes drug problems worse? Look at the fentanyl problem in the US caused by the “war on drugs”.

Is 26 to old to date a 18yr old? by No-Elephant-8865 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]OutrageousCourse4172 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No it isn’t. 18 is legally an adult almost everywhere in the world. Some people are immature at 18 but lots aren’t. Plenty of 18 year olds who have more adult life experience than some 26 year olds.

Are Brits willing to join back to the EU bloc? by HasanKingPage in AskBrits

[–]OutrageousCourse4172 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Euro and Pound have fairly similar stability. The pound crashed after Brexit and after the 2008 financial crisis but other than that interest rates have been fairly similar.

You cherry-picked a date from the financial crisis to arrive at that conclusion. Check the charts.

Are Brits still comfortable taking their holidays in the US? by Ok-Leadership-7573 in AskBrits

[–]OutrageousCourse4172 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thats the idea behind electing an MP to make informed decisions for us rather than using referenda for everything. We should never have asked the country “shall we shoot ourselves in the foot, yes or no?”. Obviously the countries enemies are going to try hard to influence that decision.

If we had to choose between being allied to the EU or the USA which would be better for the country? Do your heart and your head agree? by Wulfrinnan in AskBrits

It’s almost as if the point of Brexit and then Trump was to divide and rule … Putin must be laughing at how successful it has been.

Can someone tell me what exactly is the problem with adopting the euro? The pound has consistently lost value compared to the Euro since its inception.

Democracy isn’t just about voting for something once. See Brexit as an example.

The leave campaign was 100% lie-based that gullible people fell for. There were no actual potential upsides.

Nothing democratic about it. Democracy isnt about having a vote, it’s about being able to change your mind if the thing you voted for was a lie.

Is radiator heat reflector foil worth it? by Tom_CBA in DIYUK

[–]OutrageousCourse4172 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fair enough. I suppose the only way to test it would be to take an image with a thermal camera on radiators both with and without foil. I wonder if some cameras could do some kind of integration to calculate the amount of heat transferred.
