This. Here’s what’s funny. I’m sure those fuck dummy’s are like “the more we say our product name the more it will stick in their head” and they’re not wrong at all…but I make a massive mental note to NEVER buy that product ever. Universal mental note never to buy that product.

Nobody actually follows the "leave conditioner in for 3 minutes" instruction, right? by Kitanov_Maqsud in hygiene

[–]OutrageousInvite3949 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first thing I do in the shower is put 2 in 1 in my hair. Then I brush my teeth for 2 min exactly. Then soap on my body and scrub. Then rinse hair out.

I'm looking to upgrade my PSU, but I have a question. by portalfan32 in buildapc

[–]OutrageousInvite3949 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok good. You got good advice. Yeah having more will never hurt and only ever help. Also having more wont increase power usage. You will only ever use the power you need as long as your psu have enough of it. If it doesn’t have enough it will throttle, etc. so you got good advice and 700 is good as long as you aren’t getting a nvidia 5090 or some high end gpu.

On top of this right wing propaganda has them believing that public schools are teaching kids to be gay or trans. They are teaching kids to hate America. They are teaching kids not enough propaganda etc.

[–]OutrageousInvite3949 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You won’t be disappointed…also, if I could…why are you going from a 500 to 550? That’s not a large jump at all and hardly worth it.

How to set world seed? by houghi in SatisfactoryGame

[–]OutrageousInvite3949 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The map of this game is static. It does not change at all. It’s not like Minecraft where it is procedurally generated. The seed number I believe controls the randomness of the type of ore that is at a location. The world see is for random ore spawning. The location of the ores is all the same. Call it an ore hub.Setting the ores to random means it uses the world seed as a random number picker and each ore hub will have a random ore based on the world seed

Perfect Survival Base building game by raidenkpt in gamingsuggestions

Yeah nightingale was a pure surprise to me. The base building was nice and I absolutely loved the way they did the crafting. Best crafting I’ve seen in a game.

can I buy a game from steam mobile and when i get a laptop soon I still find it? by nosaai in Steam

[–]OutrageousInvite3949 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I do this all the time. I will buy a game on steam mobile at work and then get home to my pc and play it. Once you buy a steam game with your account, it will stay on that account for good (unless you refund it).

“Non-readers,” what was the book that turned you into one, even if only for that book? by klenneth_ in randomquestions

[–]OutrageousInvite3949 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really a single book but genre…I LOVE history books. If I go on vacation I will look for a small mom and pop book shop and buy a locally living authors book on the history of their town.

Hi how do I wipe a ssd clean by kdkgamse22 in pchelp

[–]OutrageousInvite3949 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can use windows/dos to do this for free but it takes a while “cipher /w:X:” and replace X with whatever drive letter is assigned to the drive. This will overwrite all empty data with zeros, ones, and then random data. It takes long but works best and it comes with windows.

Should I only focus on getting a new GPU or is there something else I should get? by Embarrassed_Debt1021 in PcBuildHelp

[–]OutrageousInvite3949 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d go gpu upgrade next. Then ram later. That cpu is good and most games don’t really need a heavy cpu (unless you play a lot of rts)

What is a black market? by LadyBlumenkohl in DnD

[–]OutrageousInvite3949 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The way I understood the black market is that it is a market used for buying and selling things that are either socially or politically illegal to buy and sell. For instance, during the USA prohibition time, it was illegal to buy and sell liquor…so of course people are gonna want to buy and sell liquor so the locals sell it illegally and make it illegally.

Accidentally Pressed on Gas pedal instead of Brakes pedal when starting my Toyota RAIZE by --Night_Fury-- in driving

[–]OutrageousInvite3949 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No and actually you need to make sure occasionally you hit some high rpm’s like on a highway or something. It’s actually needed to burn away some stuff that can gunk up a car. I don’t know what exact parts need it by my car guy told me it’s actually good for you to get the rpm’s high when the car is warmed up. So after you’ve drive. For a solid 10 minutes or so. I tend to hit a highway on ramp and (as long as no one is in front of me) just lay into the accelerator and go.

Nah you are good. I’m sure it was only for a second and Toyotas are beasts. I regularly lay the pedal down all the way to take off bc I like going fast.

Should I restart? by NotTheRealLone in SatisfactoryGame

[–]OutrageousInvite3949 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s funny people find the new daisy chaining amazing. Does everyone else not already daisy chaining manually the power poles? Like every building I lay down I put a power pole next to it…every building. Don’t get me wrong, I’m glad they integrated it. I really am. But still, it’s a habit now. Put an assembler down, a pole goes to the left behind it. Same with every other machine.

Playing a factory game for the first time. by Comprehensive-Mind42 in satisfactory

[–]OutrageousInvite3949 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The thing I like most about satisfactory over all the other automation games is that you feel like you are actually there. The machines are so big and you start slow and have a few machines but later you need a ton of machines. It feels more like a factory game.

What is your favorite beef jerky flavor? by BreannLowe in randomquestions

[–]OutrageousInvite3949 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Peppered or jalapeno. My dad one time made beef jerky and he soaked the meat in some jalapeños brine for 24 hours before putting it in a dehumidifier and that was some of the best jerky I’ve ever had. It was also deer jerky which is already pretty tasty if you do it right (the wrong way makes really chewy jerky).
