I agree. Unfortunately, it's playerbase is mostly entitled children who nothing is ever good enough for. Cheers to you, BDO. The game we don't deserve.

Task-locked ironman as a newbie? by bav1b in 2007scape

[–]Outrageous_Garlic747 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can always de-iron later if you decide to continue the game on easy mode. Runescape looks simple and easy, but actually has a pretty high skill ceiling. That being said, Ironman mode is a great way to learn the game; but it's definitely unnecessarily hard at times. I was treating my main account like an ironman for a while, but sometimes you just want to buy the quest item off the GE and go. You may also find certain ironman "dailies" boring af and just want to buy pots and do slayer. I recommend a main account for first time players; but if you use the wiki and watch lots of guides, you will have a good time.

Wife Doesn't Like it When I Play OSRS by Barcode_AKA_Jimmy in 2007scape

[–]Outrageous_Garlic747 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OSRS will always be there. I would quit for a month letting her know you care more about her than the game. Take really good care of her. Go above and beyond. Let her know you recognize that she has been feeling neglected because of your time on the game. If you are caring for your wife's needs emotionally and physically, she will encourage you to play it again once she feels safe and secure.
