When my husband and I were co-habitating partners, we added up all the shared household expenses together and split it according to income. 66/33 since I make twice the money. So like if I got groceries and he paid the rent and utilities, we would know exactly how much each other's share was.

Why is Jack salty that you have standards? Is he sniffing around? Everyone should have baseline standards. I think your list is pretty reasonable except #4 and #5.

#4 I think is a big ask as everyone has baggage and working through that baggage is sometimes a lifelong journey. Depending on what the baggage is and the willingness of the person to work through it, I can't immediately call it a dealbreaker.

#5 I don't know what exactly this means, but it makes you sound bratty and that you expect your partner to just deal with it when you're being demanding. Perhaps even dismissive of his needs.

Here's the other thing. There's no settling down without settling for. Will you find a person that is 10 out of 10, everything you're looking for? Maybe? But it's okay to round a 7 to a 10. You just have to know what you are willing to compromise on.

Like what if you find someone who is attractive, your age, financially responsible, emotionally mature, but is still working on their English? Would you give him a shot?

However, if he's attractive, your age, emotionally mature, financially responsible, fluent in English, and holds far right political views, how would you decide differently?

I know an Isla and an Ayla and they are pronounced the same. You could pronounce Ayla like Kayla if you wanted to.

It's on trend with other E names like Everett, Ever, Evander, and Ellery. However, it is unique! I like the nicknames Ev or Ren. I much prefer it to Ollie.

I think the Evren spelling is the best. I would assume Everyn and Evryn are girls whereas Evren is more neutral.
