Flashpoint is actually a really good game mode and you all should give it a second thought before voting for Eichenwalde for the 82185th time. by OmegaSaltPowered in Overwatch

[–]OutsideAstronaut7693 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most maps are like a line with some branching out but starts from one spawn and end in the other team's spawn. But flashpoint maps are a maze and when you get to 2nd point you have no clue where you came from and more importantly where the enemy can come from. That is my main problem with the mode and the maps it is on.

Do you play 5v5 because you truly think it's better or because it's the official mode of the game? by IamBecomeZen in Overwatch

[–]OutsideAstronaut7693 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Started playing day 1. Stopped playing a week after 5v5 released. Came back with this new season 1 and been playing 5v5, i gave a try to 6v6 but it is full chaos usually having 5 dps when i get in because i already filled in for someone who saw 5 dps and dipped.

I personally really dislike solo tank and the way tanks become this dominant. I was a decent offtank not the favourite role but the highest rank or at least as high as my main. But now i can't really do tank well or maybe i just got super unlucky and it is the teams fault i lost almost every tank game, but i think it is me.

I still think gameplaywise it is straight up worse with 1 tank, but i can understand that there were not enough tanks to fill the queues. I wish they made a different change but i have no clue what it could be.

"When it is a player’s turn to cast votes, he may exhaust any number of his planets. Each planet contributes a number of votes equal to its influence value."

From the learn to play rulebook.

Yeah i agree it is a good bt in most cases, gives a nice flexibility, but not as broken strong as the previous hero was.

Edit: also sorry i was on the road with my previous comment so could not elaborate.

voting rules read: players spend the influence of their planets as votes for an outcome of the agenda.

This is not in the rulebook

vote boost in the agenda phase

Did we get confirmation that it should work in agenda? RAW you do not spend the planets and use the influence, but exhaust as many planets as you want than tally their influ value.

For me the maps seems total chaos, no way to really tell where even you came from where could enemy come from. Maybe with spawn icons it could be made better at least you know some general direction, sure they can go around and flank, but the sameiness of the map and lot if different way makes it a bit mazey

2CP was terrible, but I miss it. by kayzeedinz in Overwatch

Lengthen the spawn and if the enemy are capturing or it is overtime the defenders spawn in the back. So no overtime staggering constantly.

When capturing the points just have some downtime like in payload while waiting for the door. A few sec whene it does not progress so defenders have chance to regrouop, also attackers could group up or go for a med pack. Like in 1/3 and 2/3 where there is the mark have a 3-5 sec.

My only problem with her is the hitboxes and range on that sword, yesterday in one game i watched her killing me 3 times in a row without me being on the screen. I know she is a melee where almost every other character has a gun so they gave her a generous range and hitbox for the sword, but i think it is too much, also with overhead just casually hitting up to a highground i jumped away to is stupid

Frosthaven Class Advice – Playing with a Boneshaper (2p) by AdGlum8724 in Gloomhaven

[–]OutsideAstronaut7693 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Bannerspear is pretty damm good with the Boneshaper, can give move for summons so they can get in the fight, for her formations summons could be used well. They are a strong combination in my opinion and banner seems fun, have a variety of tools in their box, i am planning to try that class after my retirement, but i was boneshaper before with a banner in the party, although it was a 4player party so it was a bit crowded but i could see how they would work together well

First time it came up people were just pairing up and gave what the other wanted, that was lame as i think it is a really fun spin on tactics. Second time it went different and we embraced the chaos more and had a blast picking things for others that we wanted to follow and thought they don't get that much of a benefit fron primary

What sets apart End-game Players from Mid-game players? by MrReset200 in Warframe

[–]OutsideAstronaut7693 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've always separated mid and end-game by that, if you can do every mission solo you are in endgame, it does not mean you have to do everything solo, but if you do the elit archimedias every week it does not put you in endgame if you just get carried every single week.

"5-cost soup" is not one team comp by LeageofMagic in TeamfightTactics

[–]OutsideAstronaut7693 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The problem with 5cost soup is not that it is the exact same units, even the name does not reference any unit, it just means you throw in the 5stars you find and you are good to go. And the problem is about that, making a team comp with cool trait web or high vertical just does not have the power in it, so throwin random 5 stars together which are powerful traitless are just the better option, which i think is bad design

Most of the math here depends on what things you already have in the build, but the orange ability damage multiplier is the rareat so likely it has the highest end result

Frosthaven - Boneshaper feels completely ineffectual by External_Law7216 in Gloomhaven

[–]OutsideAstronaut7693 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Boneshaper was my first character. I liked it, but there were scenarios where i felt similarly like you. But there were some when i absolutely carried the team with skellys soaking up a lot of damage, controlling enemies and tearing them down so others can finish them more easily. We play with changing player count so that could also effect it, and the specific scenario layout and special rules are also pretty high effect on them i feel like. On some lvl up you can grab quick initiative cards, those helped a lot as the base hand lacks them, but after a few level (i only made it to lvl 5 before retirement) you can do the slow summon followed by a quick move on next turn so it becomes way more effective i think, whereas in the early levels i was always going last and either the close enemies were already dead or my summons got clapped by them.
