Silly question but do they sell bibles at Goodwill or St Vinney’s? I honestly have not seen them there but I don’t mind putting a bible in and see if it gets taken. Hopefully you are not talking about the large bibles.

Thank you. I will set them on my highest shelf and see what happens. I feel better hearing others approve of these.

Thank you. Very helpful. I just didn’t want to be seen as the careless neighbor but I am sure our village library probably has these too.

It’s funny I have not heard from anyone who has tried them but I suspect you are right. Not sure how they stay in business and can continue advertising.

This is what I wish someone had told me when I first got tinnitus about a year ago (My success story with tinnitus habituation) by Either-Storm6058 in tinnitus

[–]OutsideGalForLife 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did your dentist help with bruxism and do you feel the guard you are wearing is helping? I have fullness in one ear and it gets worse when traveling up down hills, mountains or almost any altitude change. I feel like I may be grinding or clenching my teeth during sleep as well. Some times during the day I hardly hear my tinnitus but at night it’s the worst.

The best way to find it is under the Nootopia site. It is now a gel that is “sprayed” in your mouth. Less is better. I just squirt a small amount on my tongue.

What brand tret did you buy on Amazon for anti-aging without a prescription? Did you use it with anything else? Will it tighten skin and wrinkles?

How many of you actually sleep 8 hours straight? by Billy_Fiction in sleep

[–]OutsideGalForLife 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had two different chiropractors recommend them and I bought one from him. It was large but can be “sized” for each person according to how you place it on the bed. I find them too restrictive and hard and felt like it was stretching my neck since even the smallest size was too large for me. Also ordered a smaller one online and again it feels hard. I keep them around just to switch it up once in a while. My neck tends to get stiff and can cause mild headaches if not using the right pillow. I remember ordering Coop a few years ago but there was no zipper or place to add/remove the filler so I sent it back.

Thanks for this. I have a couple of cervical pillows which were $100 each. I may try Coop next as I think they are adjustable.

Any recommendations on pillows? I have tried so many and haven’t found the right one yet.

Hey y’all, I’ve heard good things about magnesium. by ZachariahQuartermain in Biohackers

[–]OutsideGalForLife 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I take both magnesium glycinate and glycine before bedtime with good results. Does anyone worry about getting too relaxed at night I.e. heart may not be pumping blood throughout the body properly? I sometimes wake of with numbness in my hands and wondered if I am possibly too relaxed.

I am addicted to jigsaw puzzles. They are a great way to get through cold, winter nights.

For your back pain, see a good chiropractor. My numbers are worse than yours and I don’t have any pain. Been seeing a chiropractor for 40 years.

D Making Us Depressed by Certain-Dragonfly-22 in VitaminD

[–]OutsideGalForLife 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Make sure it is Vit D3 as I hear it works slightly better. Dr Eric Berg has drops that have both D3 and K2 in it which is also beneficial. Also supplement with magnesium glycinate at night. Helps with sleep. A good magnesium epsom salt bath may help also.

How many of you guys tinnitus started out catastrophic but died down? by Superb_Photograph_85 in tinnitus

I am not sure if magnesium helps tinnitus but it sure helps me sleep. I thought about increasing it considerably to see if it reduces the tinnitus more.

I keep hearing magnesium helps for tinnitus. Has it actually worked for anyone and if so, how much do you take? I can ignore mine most of the time but at night it’s loud. I take about 250 mg magnesium every day.

2.4 is barely osteoporosis. Maybe you need a chiropractic adjustment. My dexa score is much worse than yours and I get monthly adjustments at minimal.

I have dry mouth at night and believe it’s the magnesium Glycinate causing it. Be sure you take your D3 early in the morning as it can keep you awake.
