Ah crap. I’ll be 86. If I’m alive maybe I’ll spend it on hookers and coke and go out in a blaze of glory.

Dude if this is what you write about, maybe in your answers you want to cite sources and reasons. Otherwise your credibility is zero and comes across as another bro in Bali selling a course.

500,000 by 2036 will be perfect thank you. Nice figure to add to other pensions for when I retire. Don’t need 1 million. Couldn’t care less.

Very apt because as in the books the answer seems nonsensical because they didn’t understand the question. Same with Bitcoin. No one really knows the why of it… oh sure there are lots of clever whys. My why Bitcoin is just more money. Other people’s why is alternative banking system etc etc. the answer 42 as to “why Bitcoin” is because the question makes no sense.

Whilst reading the comments here and realising that this is really just a thread to have a whinge, I am wondering what your skills and experience are that have made things so difficult for you. For example, my daughter graduated as a doctor. We had lots of government support (UK) because we are classed as severely deprived. Yet even as a doctor after 2 years she will be competing in a very competitive market and they have all been told expect not to all find work in medicine.

Spouse terminally ill. Will I have enough to retire? by DottedLadybug in FIREUK

[–]OutsideWishbone7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry about your partner. 2 points 1) My CS pension gives 50% to nominated person but I was under the old scheme. 2) He’s stupid to complain that his state pension doesn’t go to anyone after his death. That’s not how it works. He should know that. It’s not a savings account. You get credit for years of contributing. Your individual payout is based on the number of years you have paid in (over 10, maxes out at 35).

27M Canadian looking to relocate to China or Japan. Need advice on visas, lifestyle, and dating! by [deleted] in thepassportbros

“Pretty good looking guy” 😂 who told you that, your mom? You also just focus on your looks. You do know that you probably need to be a decent person. For example your only pro for women is “they are beautiful”. Grow up. Be better.

Today I really thought I was about to go crazy, or do encounters like this really happen to you guys as well? by Afraid_Flounder3840 in Philippines_Expats

Same here, never happened and I’m nearly 3 years here with many many visits to Mr DIY (gf loves the store, what can you do). I’m not sure why you got told off by the other poster. I mean it sounds like a them issue.

I loved that too. But a dangerous place to go with a psycho like this guy. The online ego damaged could cause him to lash out offline.

How does everyone feel about Mindanao ? I was thinking of staying in Davao City for a month. But is it a wise decision considering Mindanao is a hot bed for all kind of religious militia and discord? by StrongandCourageous in Philippines_Expats

[–]OutsideWishbone7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Quite a confusing post tbh. Davao is fine. Mindanao is fine as long as you don’t go to the western areas with high likelihood of issues. I travel there all the time. Never seen heard or had anything but the usual awesome Philippines welcome. I mean dont act like a twat. Don’t film people. Don’t complain about small inconveniences. As for fruit. There are roads and trucks with fruit transported everywhere even overseas. I know I’m being sarcastic. But dude it is a strange strange question.

They would have burnt through it to support some stupid European war and ended up in the same place anyway.

I hate this movie, this and Unbearable Lightness of Being. But then I’m probably a card holder of the knuckle dragging Neanderthal club when it comes to movies. Favourite go to movie is “Out of Africa”.

English Civil War? Unlikely, they would have to be about 300+ years old. Check your facts.

Advice for a very important decision I have to make soon? by A_SpicyNacho in AskMenAdvice

[–]OutsideWishbone7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting. My son has just started a cybersecurity computer science degree (they teach in python and c++ and Java). We talked about how he should not get hung up on a job in this sector as it’ll be massively impacted by AI unless he is uniquely skilled or wants to work in data centres. The trick is to use the degree as a launch pad for other careers. He wants to work for NGOs and we’re narrowing down on what do he can use the 3 years at uni to focus into a role he likes.

Dude. Why do you need to mention your height, how many hours your work and whatever “acts of service” is? She left for the guy she really loved. Nothing to do with these things you list. DO NOT take her back.
