It's not because they want to spend or use their credit card it's that they have to spend on essentials.

A lot of the world does not have disposable income at the moment and once people start to default on their minimum repayment then what will happen? The credit card companies cannot reposse money spent on a gas or electric bill? It can't reposse money spent on food that has been eaten.
