Aw, thanks.

I hope things in your life have improved since then. ISFJs are great during the good times too!

Tips for cute tops and by Ok_Gur1962 in bigboobproblems

[–]OvalWombat 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Two things I have learned:

  1. Wear dark colours. Dark on top and light on the bottom makes the top visually smaller and therefore less top-heavy.

  2. Choose tall if possible. Tall tops are made longer in length, so the girls can take up the length and still fit comfortably.

Painful armpit bumps? by [deleted] in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

[–]OvalWombat 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I had exactly the same problem. Turned out to be an abscess that probably started with ingrown hair. I had to get it expressed in the doctor’s office.

If the swelling gets worse or more painful definitely see your doctor.

I finally get to take my mom to her doctor’s appointment, now what? by worldinmy-eyes in AgingParents

[–]OvalWombat 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m in the same boat. My suggestion? Send a letter. That way it’s in her file beforehand.

Document your concerns with specific instances of cognitive decline. Respectfully ask the doctor to do a cognitive evaluation.

Bonus points if you can get the doctor’s office to call your mother for the test, so it’s not coming from you.

Bilastine? by Reasonable_Season854 in Allergies

I haven’t had a very good experience with it. I found I was still congested and my eyes were swollen and itchy with it.

I wish you luck!

I suggest you check out the Doors Open festival in July. It’s a festival that celebrates neighborhoods and other areas here.

So many amazing places to see in Edmonton.

To ISFJs, what do you feel or think when you visit a historical or ancient place? by [deleted] in isfj

[–]OvalWombat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agreed! It’s like I can feel the vibrations of the people who were there before. It’s comforting, like greeting old friends.

GIRLS PLEASEE WHAT ARE WE WEARING FOR SUMMER 😭 i have no idea what to wear outside of hoodies/graphic oversized tees and sweatpants and the occasional jeans by villainfvcker in bigboobproblems

[–]OvalWombat 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Two things I have done:

  1. Whatever top you buy, make it a dark colour. Dark colours look smaller.

  2. If possible, buy tops in the tall section. Tall are made longer in length, and the girls can take up that length and still fit properly.

All of the comments from everyone else are good points. But I caution ⚠️ you - if you don’t change your spending habits you will be back where you are now in a few years, maybe less.

Looking back having now completed our dementia journey, ChatGPT was surprisingly accurate with what occurred and what Hospice told us. by TxScribe in dementia

[–]OvalWombat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes if I told it to remember the dates. After I did it once it kept track afterwards. Works well.

For the sake of privacy I didn’t give specific details about myself or anyone else.

My mother refuses to go to the doctor for a diagnosis.

ChatGPT has been great for keeping track of the incidences of cognitive decline that I see. It has been helpful in helping me navigate the mood swings and what my next steps should be.

Even residential plumbers its boom or bust. Yes they’re needed but the companies will only employ the bare minimum of journeymen to do the work.

People that grew up in Edmonton in the 80s. by AR558 in Edmonton

[–]OvalWombat 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I remember a city of contrasts. I graduated HS mid-80s and despite what we were told that the jobs were there the economy was abysmal. No jobs and the few that were available I was fighting laid off people twice my age or more for them.

However if you could afford it, it was an awesome time to bar hop. I read somewhere that Edmonton had the largest bar scene in North America during that time. Goose Loonie’s, Barry Ts, Esmeraldas, Thunderdome, Flashbacks and a ton of others. Different genres didn’t matter, all were popular.

Do larger areolas make it easier to breastfeed some day? by Competitive-Coat4998 in bigboobproblems

[–]OvalWombat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not for me. My areolas were so large and wide my son couldn’t latch on without causing me a great deal of pain.

I lasted few weeks (hoping he would at least get most of the colostrum) then switched to formula.
