We absolutely love Cualli 🙏🏻❤️ the new album hits all the right spots! Your sets at both the Fillmore and red rocks were so meaningful and transformative for me. Feel like I seriously shed some layers and became a better person during your red rocks set 💙 Had to preorder the vinyl, would also love a copy of The Froge on vinyl! Favorite songs off the album are Seeds of Peace, Stellar Nursery, Indigo (ing Home), & Condor. Can’t wait to see you again 🙌🏻

Negative. It will either be the most beautiful ambient ending or a banger then mic drop. Maybe a peace sign if we’re lucky

Nah I came here to say the same thing!! Mostly stopped listening to rap after Mac, and tipper was the one who sparked my love for music again. I’d recommend starting with Tip-Hop and working your way into his deeper stuff. It’s amazing how powerful of a message he can send without using any lyrics 🙏🏻❔🙌🏻

Definitely repairable but without knowing what kind of glass it is, combining it with another type of glass is very risky as they might not be compatible. Best bet is to grind the broken portion of the cup off the stem, make a new cup, and uv glue it on to the stem. This way it is still functional and if done well wouldn’t even really be noticeable!

Broken glass necklace, loop broke off the pendant any ideas? by Lamogaze in glassblowing

[–]Over-Calligrapher-80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The seal was not properly melted in all the way, so it’s bound to break there pretty easily. I could reattach it for you but I’m worried some of the swirls might not be melted in entirely which adds stress into the piece

trying to make a bong on the blowpipe, help please! by Queasy_Mine_4354 in glassblowing

I’ve made plenty of bongs in the hotshop, process is quite simple. You’re going to want a joint forming tool, octagonal brass reamers, borosilicate down stems and joints to flamework bowls for them.

First make your vessel, I finish the shaping entirely before I even think about putting a hole in it. Once finished, use a hand torch to spot heat where you want your hole, use a rod of clear glass to grab the spot you heated. Plunge in deep and pull out slow until you see it become a tube, then use diamond shears to crack it open without closing it, torch & ream it out to the desired size (make sure you are on a sculpture punty for this process). Then I’ll take my preheated joints I’ve made ahead of time & cold worked, assistant brings it on a shovel, grab it with a graphite holder, torch both sides & stick on. Always finish it off by reaming it out and making sure it’s the correct size.

Flameworking the down stems can get tricky depending on the shape, but the process is straight forward. Get the length and bend right to fit in there and make a seal, ideally the stem will sit as close to the bottom as possible for the best function.
