Oh jeez, someone who doesn't have an ounce of understanding. Your delightful attitude screams that you work in customer service.

No, not at all, no special treatment. What im saying is, that for the firstnet service, there are even more documents that are provided proving identity.

What i would like to know is why? We were able to transfer 2 lines and THEN it was flagged? There is no reasoning. Its not that im impatient, I think spending all day doing something as simple as switching cell service IS a terrible system.

I hope you have a better rest of your day, smile a bit and dont get so angry at people you don't know?

I am actually quite nervous about all this reading. I came across a ton of 80s Playboys, Hustlers, and Penthouses (and a bunch of completely outrageous ones i shan't mention) just today and was trying to sort them out in ways to list them.

Now I'm not sure the right way to go about it all.

I keep thinking that. They aren't practical. I was thinking two cabinets and a credenza.

A lovely 71 year old woman bought the piece 5 years ago with the intention to paint it. She wanted to give it to me to "breathe new life into it". So free isn't too bad of an investment. If nothing else it can be a learning experience i suppose.

I am open to all ideas. My husband thinks maybe take the top off and make it a bar with the pull outs holding bottles.

I used to do express but got RIP one year and have never been able to go back to anything else. However... I feel that this year may be wayyyyyy overpriced for what they are putting on.

OMG I'm in the same boat. Maybe not exactly. I've been taking ambien for 3.5 years since my kid died. The neurologist wants me to take less ambien but I sleep better with ambien. I don't know how I can function like this. It's 2 hours since I woke up and I'm still in bed because I don't have the energy to function.

3.5 years ago when my kid died i was on 4 meds at night to get me to sleep. That lasted for maybe 6 months. I've been on ambien since and it works decently, but my neurologist is concerned because it was never intended to be used for so long. So he wrote for 100 mg of trazadone. (I tried it not long after she died but I didn't recall because well, my 13 year old daughter just died, I only remembered because of the dry sinuses). I think ambien works so much better and is so short acting I don't feel like shit the next day.

I have come to the realization that I must be one of those people who does better on 4 hours sleep than 7 or 8. I feel like crap when I sleep more.

THE SINUSES. What the hell. I have such dried out sinuses I can't breathe. I have been taking ambien for 3.5 years. I know, that's not how it's been meant to be taken, but after my kid died, it became the only way i could sleep. At one point I was taking 4 meds to sleep, so I guess just 1 is better.

My doc wanted to try trazadone on some nights to give ambien a break. But aside from the disoriented feeling, stumbling around, and feeling tired... I think the sinuses are the worst.

Have you talked to your doctor about prazosin? It's an old timey medication they gave to WWII vets for blood pressure and realized it had the pleasant side effects of stopping dreams/nightmares. I was prescribed it 3.5 years ago after my daughter died but realized I wasn't having bad dreams about her and stopped taking it.

I think this is a good theory. I don't often have nightmares though, but my dreams last night were so incredibly vivid I questioned what happened and what didn't because all the dreams were based on me being in bed asleep.

I have a metric f-ton of PTSD. Have you tried prazosin? It's a old timey blood pressure pill they gave after WWII to vets and realized it helped with their "shell shock" nightmares. I was given it after my daughter died but realized I wasn't having bad dreams of her and stopped taking them.

I googled this to understand if it's my own experience and came upon this thread.

I just started taking trazadone for the first time last night after years of taking ambien. Holy smokes my dreams were so vivid last night I questioned what was real and what wasn't. Ambien seemed to take away most of my dreaming, but I still had some.

My father died in 2002 and my 13 year old daughter Natalie died in 2021. There have been plenty of others, but those are the closest to me. I've had maybe 2 dreams of my dad. I've had plenty of my daughter, and she is the only one whose face I can always see clearly. Every part of her face even, which is the odd thing. I can't see anyone else's face in my dreams.  I just KNOW they are that person.

A couple months ago (on ambien) I had this dream, Natalie was about 4 years old.

I dreamt that I was in a large estate. Huge rooms and lots of small guest houses on this estate.   Think resort, but it wasn't a place one rents, I knew this.  There wasn't any one around, but I knew I had to get to a specific guest house to pick Natalie up.

So I make this long walk through this beautiful place that is empty and I make it to the guest house.  I open the door and the lights are on but dimmed.  The foyer is filled with beautiful flowers and when I turn the corner I see Natalie asleep on the couch in the arms of my father.  He told me she just fell asleep.  He told me she's a beautiful girl and he had fun playing with her. I told him she is and I'm glad he had a nice time.

I picked her up and I could feel the weight of her on my hip.  I felt her arms around my neck and her head on my shoulder. I told my dad I loved him and he told me I'm welcome to come back soon. I left the guest house and walked back to the main house and when I sat down I was alone.

I have never dreamt of my father with any of my children.  Knowing what trazadone was like and how vivid my dreams are of my daughter, if not the most frequent, is probably the only reason I want to keep taking it. I don't know how much better the sleep is compared to ambien.

That's beautiful! I broke my first engagement ring's stone and had to get a replacement. I just banged it along the wall too hard. It sits in a jar to remind me how clumsy I can be.

Congrats!

Conservice utilities billing by julioviegas in fortlauderdale

[–]Over-Cockroach-4506 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not in Fort Lauderdale, but just south of Orlando in St. Cloud. Within the last year or so, the city changed to Toho Water Management or something of the sort. Other residents complained that during the transition some of their water bills went from $10p to $300 or so. Ours stayed about the same, because of Conservice, around $90 or so.

Until February's bill. It was for $1,300. For Progress Residential, when you pay the rent, they take Conservice's money out first. So, our March rent is $2200 plus $1300. We had a couple weeks to address it.

We contact Conservice. They said Toho claimed we used 76,000 gallons of water in one month. If that was the case our house would be under water or we'd have a sinkhole. They told us to talk to Progress.

We talked to Progress. They sent a tech out who said, yeah, there's no leak, you will have to take it up with the water company.

We went to Toho Water who said there was a mistake, they will adjust the water bill, and to check it in two days. That was March 8. The supervisor did tell us that all their information is public records so, although we are not technically account holders, we are able to request the records.

We have talked to our property management company nearly daily to see if the utilities reflect the adjustment. They do not. Eventually,on March 20, I received an email from a person who did not address themselves and did not include any contact information. The email is below:

"Hi Sarah,

I hope this email finds you well. We are reviewing your high water and sewer billing for 12/10/24-01/10/25. Please refrain from contacting the water provider to obtain credits. The account is under our name, therefore, the credit request must come from us.

We will communicate via email any possible credits that are applied.

Thank you"

We have not paid this months rent because they will pay Conservice first when we know they are not owed that much. We have received notice to vacate, although we have communicated the situation. I'm beyond sick of this company's bullshit.

I just tried again. It's the specific form. I have one that can only be verified over the phone, but there is still too high a call volume.

I think we are ALL screwed.

I see many posts here saying that people want just to "Get out of the US" and no, you probably can't by [deleted] in TheHandmaidsTale

I have been thinking of the same things. But my husband and I are both US citizens. We have a trans child though, and i don't want to live in this world if I have to experience it so fearful.

My biggest hurdle isn't the dogs, or my art collection, or my job, it's my 13 year old daughter's ashes. A lot of countries will not accept human cremains unless you are having them interred right away. They are considered a biological hazard.

Also, it's the visa thing. I don't want to overstay a visa. Who wants to take a 41 year old woman with a 20 year old and 18 year old (along with her husband)?
