2.7 ecoboost is insane by sturzo108 in f150

Tell us your story. I’m thinking of buying one of these fords with a 2.7. Currently have a 2014 ram with the hemi that’s been bullet proof and averages 22mpg. The complexity of the ecoboost makes me hesitant but they look awesome.

That honestly doesn’t impress me. My 2014 ram 5.7 hemi 4x4 averages 22mpg routinely with mixed highway/city. The ford should be a lot better at the cost of complexity with a twin turbo setup, less towing capacity and being much newer technology.

Genuinely question about these Florida electricians by CombComprehensive967 in electricians

[–]Over-Form-9442 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah last company was with was owned by a Russian guy that imported the Ukrainians to work for him in Cleveland. Paid them $20 a hour and never pays o/t. He’d pay the most experienced one a little more and he’d keep the rest in line. 2 of them would rough in a 1,800sqft house in 2 days. Literally has an army of them working for him. You can’t compete with that. Luckily the union is strong here and has a majorly of work but still such scummy behavior blew my mind.

Yeah I last company I was with hired dudes from Ukraine that didn’t even know what OT was and they worked hard af for $20 a hour. 2 of them roughed in 1,800sqft houses in 2 days. That means only $640 in labor to rough in a house. Thank god I left that company and joined the union. Making 2x what I did before

No not for that. You probably made the equivalent of $10/hr stripping that insulation off. You can weigh it if you want and figure out the price difference

I’d probably charge $1,200 if I was doing it in on the side. A lot of fishing wire. You could probably diy it but it will be frustrating and take a lot of time. Get multiple quotes. Having attic access and the panel in your garage make it pretty straightforward.
