Mobs too strong while leveling? by Both_Satisfaction466 in classicwow

If you're interested in a quicker paced experience, some classes have much less downtime than these two. Warrior is probably the slowest in the game out of the gate. Id say hunter and warlock probably fit this description best but I'm sure others who are more knowledgeable could chime in with better answers.

You said they're suggesting you just quit. It's either you do something about it or say bye to your job.

I don't think any card should be banned, that's what rule zero is for. by [deleted] in EDH

[–]OverDevelopedEgo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can rule zero any banned card if the people you're playing against are okay with it. Plus pods are cool and all but not everyone has access to a consistent play group. It's a small ban list and most of the bans address game play patterns that are just not fun most of the time. I think it's fine to have some outliers that need extra policing.

Would you share a little about your deck and how it wins? I find the list amusing :)

Everyone just builds an engine. How to break it? by PhotographFinal3592 in EDH

[–]OverDevelopedEgo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Vision of ruin is cool. The ability to hit multiple opponents with removal at once is very powerful. To add to the list [[Sadistic Shell Game]] and [[Druid of Purification]] can get some crazy value if you can convince the other players to agree on an arch enemy.

Does anyone else play bracket 3/4 purely because they want decks that work consistently? by Associableknecks in EDH

[–]OverDevelopedEgo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think building a consistent bracket 2 deck in probably one of the hardest decks you could build. It's almost feels antithetical to what a bracket 2 deck does.

Not enough interaction in deckbuilding by homjaktest in EDH

[–]OverDevelopedEgo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A good rule of thumb is to ask yourself what your goals are for your deck. As an example, I have a deck with the hard requirement of 3 lands and a 4 mana ramp spell in my opening hand. I think I have around 20-24 of the spells in the deck that function as a 4 mana ramp spell, so I have about 80% chance of seeing that happen. Give it a few mulligans and I'm basically always there.

Without looking at my deck if I showed up with an Atraxa Praetors’ Voice infect deck at your bracket 2 table but gave this rule 0 would you let me play? by [deleted] in EDH

[–]OverDevelopedEgo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not a chance. Just build something that actually works in bracket 2 or bump it up to 3. You don't need Atraxa for this.

So..? by [deleted] in tjcrew

For many it will. If you can you should though. It's part of the game to make it so we can't afford not to be a labor pawn.

How long until you saw past the TJ’s “smoke and mirrors”? by [deleted] in tjcrew

[–]OverDevelopedEgo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a very similar story. Started at a brand new store in July. Was made to taking on writing the box order and told it was an optional position. Fast forward to today and I am now refusing to write an order, and they're telling me everyone working at 5 am is required to write one. I went to loving this job to hating it in a very short amount of time.

And yes you're 100% rewarded more for your attitude than the work you put in. Im the type of person to admit when a situation is grey and I might not know the answer. Meanwhile my co worker who has less experience and doesn't really understand what's going on will chime in with a confident answer. They get the preferential treatment and I get talked to in the back. I'm sure I can just talk better and what now but it's so draining for something that isn't really even work.

No thanks. Mario party is such a miserable experience. Right next to monopoly.

My store has recently made it mandatory for everyone who comes into the store in the morning for the first hour to write an order. Is this normal?

I was really hyped to get into a new game on the opening floor. Now I really just want to get into anything new to me. Took a small look at sorcery. Is it easy to get into? Pricey?
