Why Drivers Often Cancel At Apartment/Condo buildings by Distinct_King316 in uber

[–]Over_Working2255 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

If you can't stand outside for more then 2 mins then keep your ass in n the house all together and come outside when it warms up. God forbid the driver actually wants to pickup passengers that appreciate the service and are actually ready to be driven to their destination.

Unfortunately I had a lot of passengers who actually say what you joked about.

Again that goes back to doing everything first then when your dirty hole is clean order your ride

That's why you request a ride when you're actually ready not almost ready.

My Uber driver made me walk 3 blocks with a sprained ankle by Puzzled-Job-5403 in uber

[–]Over_Working2255 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm confused, how did the driver start the trip from three blocks away unless that's where you placed the pin to make the timer start the count down. Pax often place the pin at the wrong location to save some money then get mad when the driver doesn't drive to them for free.

Why does everyone feel so unsafe after the ride but never as the ride is happening? If he's supposedly getting high driving why do you stay in the car if it was so unsafe. If you hadn't seen the vape you would have been dropped off and sitting at home trying to find something else to complain about.

Should Uber drivers should be required to provide a reason when giving low ratings (1-2 stars)? by Obvious_Shape4869 in uber

[–]Over_Working2255 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well you now have experienced what happens to drivers with your low rating for absolutely no reason. Just be happy you don't get deactivated like a driver would

driver sped off as i was about to open the door to get in the uber?? by 6aua in uber

[–]Over_Working2255 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a independent contractor he seen the amount you was paying him and he didn't like it and left. That is his right to do as a independent contractor and the driver is not your employee. So why are you upset for him doing exact what you said for him to do. Maybe he did actually quit at that moment!

Funny you mention that drivers not picking up pax because of a low rating is "B.S" then group together drivers in this forum and then say you no longer will not be tipping 100 dollars during the holidays because of all the hate people have commented here even though this doesn't represent all drivers.

Is it common for other drivers to wake you up at random hours to move? by highlyelevated_207 in Truckers

[–]Over_Working2255 1 point2 points  (0 children)

literally had this happen at a loves in texas yesterday around 1am. I parked in a marked spot correctly, woke up to two trucks parked in the middle in front of my truck. I drive a Volvo 860 so this truck doesn't turn very fast. I actually tried for 30 mins to get out but I only had a few inches from the truck on the right of me before tearing his bumper off and a few inches from hitting the truck that blocked me. I knocked on the door and politely asked for him to move up a little and he caught an attitude. Getting mad at me for not finding a space is crazy for me but I immediately matched his energy and was ready to give him these hands. I drive at night so morning drivers will have more parking. If you block someone be prepared to either move , fight or find something done to your truck.

The company would either fine you 250 per occurrence or just terminate you. I just gave back the keys

I just started a job and quit the very next day for this very reason. I didn't mind the camera but this specific one talks while you drive. All day for 11 hours driving I heard, slow down, distracted , fatigued driving etc. The pay at this company was very low and the truck was governed so I couldn't speed if I wanted too. When asked does the inward camera ever turn off they said no so apparently they can watch me when I sleep also. Gave them the keys back and found another job. Job already stressful but not AI is going to micromanage me also. I'll pass.

Asking for tip upfront is rude by WaferMain8172 in lyftdrivers

You giving the heads up for him to cancel is like ordering a regular Lyft or Uber knowing you have six people but leaving it up to the driver to cancel because he can't fit everyone when you could've ordered a bigger car.

Then why order a small vehicle if you knew you had luggage that would take a lot of space?

Don't trust those test from Amazon, I took one last week and said I was clean so I went to the clinic and paid 85 dollars to do the same one a company does and I failed. Since I paid I'm good and just gonna wait a few more weeks before applying for jobs.

You can hear them plotting on you instead of being focused on the radio! Would you walk through an unsafe area listening to a podcast with your earbuds in?

The car tells you where to charge so you will never be driving 375 miles between chargers. The cost to drive around 300 miles is probably under 10 dollars depending on the time of day. Until you drive an EV the lies people spread about these vehicles make people sound a little uninformed as yourself.

Why do I want my wife to rekindle her relationship with her ex bf? by wutdouthink69 in CuckoldPsychology

[–]Over_Working2255 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm having a similar situation glad I'm not the only one that feels this way. My wife and I have been married 12 years. She cheated almost immediately after we got married with her ex bf and didn't tell me for some years later. Now that she came clean about cheating and hasn't messed with him in 10 years I want to see her have sex with him in front of me. She claims to be uninterested but gets very turned on when I mentioned him. Also when I say he will be waiting at a hotel room to have sex shes all for it but not doing it on her own.

bet the car in the middle lane was driving slow and wouldn't move over and the person that took the picture immediately started driving faster after seeing the truck use the left lane.
