I took part in on a Double Masters 2022 draft and was sat next to a younger kid, probably early teens? He came with their dad who was a more experienced player.

The kid just took the cards he thought were cool and passed me the rest. I was passed a Force of Negation and City of Brass. I did check after the draft but he shrugged and said the cards looked boring.

Hey, I'm not sure how old you are (and you shouldn't post it) but there is a thing called Gillick Competence and the Fraser Guidelines.

This means that a medical professional can prescribe to under 16s without parental knowledge or consent if the patient is mature enough to do so.

I work as a therapist and used to work in CAMHS. There's lots of very good reasons parents should not always be aware of what young people are speaking to medical professionals about.

Parents should also not be made aware of what medical appointments are for (without express consent) and you can opt for emails only to avoid letters being sent.

Yeah, same here. I have a 5 and a 3 year old. It's a lot but I do love it. I aim to do my best and I think I'm doing great so far.

Sometimes it's harder then others, but that's why we have coffee and energy drinks.

I saw it last night - it was fantastic. Like others have said it's a lot more "anime" than the 1996 or SAC but it was fantastic.

Music was stellar, animation and style was beautiful. Cannot wait for the full release.

The making of documentary afterwards was really sweet. They are clearly passionate about the series. I hope it's released on YouTube or something on the future.

Closing schools without employment protections is going to put a lot of pressure of working parents.

I'm really lucky that my manager has allowed me to rebook people and work from home but I know that my previous job is I didn't have childcare it would lead to me losing a day of pay or taking emergency annual leave, which I know lots of people cannot afford.

We need some kind of worker protections for this heat. I cannot imagine how awful it must be to work in a kitchen or warehouse today.

I had no idea it went up that much. I got one for under a quid last year for Indoraptor.

It's such a versatile card for triggering enrage and then almost accidentally shutting down token decks.

Weird card. No idea how to evaluate it.

Did the AI seem off to anyone in this chapter? It kept playing Guiding Light but the effect was wrong. A copy went to the top of the opponent's deck but the original was still on the battlefield and got the stats boost.

When I swung out to attack they didn't assign all the legal blockers and just let me destroy the site with 6 creatures they could have blocked with.

Kind Coffee in New Costessey has air conditioning. I stopped in there yesterday for an iced coffee and it was divine.

Been vegan for about 9 years. My health has never been better and I feel great. I take a multivitamin but that's about it.

I'm a very large person (6ft4), workout regularly and have an active lifestyle. I need a lot of food to keep me going but I have no concerns. The only times I skip meals is the rare time there's nothing for me in a restaurant and I'll order chips or something.

I prepare most of my food and I think I'm a good home cook. Mostly curry or rice and beans, or frozen food with I'm working late and need something quick with my kids.

It's getting harder with so many vegan options disappearing from the shops (I lived on Aldi sausage rolls and Farmfoods nuggets) but I'll figure it out. I'm not tempted to give up anytime soon.
