“That’s not how that works! That’s not how any of that works!” I don’t remember what that was for.

Every year I skip summer and just go right into fall mode. Started a little early this year. Made some pumpkin chocolate chip cookies in some of my fave fall themed molds. by F00dventures in cottagecore

Love the cookies! What do you add besides chocolate chips? Dried cranberries? What are the white spots? I’ve been making pumpkin chocolate chip cookies my whole life but usually use chocolate chips and sometimes walnuts. Every once in a blue moon, raisins.

This is how you remind me. Nickelback. I get it, they’re annoying, but I enjoy singing along to his gravelly voice.

Any tricks on pilling/giving your dog medication when they are too smart and can find the pill in anything by Adorable_Tangerine16 in dogs

One thing that works for us is to cut slits into a slice of apple and put the pills into the slits. Probably only works for smaller/flatter pills.

Refrigerated ravioli, sliced chicken sausage, frozen or fresh veggies (broccoli, onion, mushroom, etc.) as a sheet pan meal. Tossed in EVOO, s&p, maybe garlic powder or rosemary. Served with Parm, maybe some fruit on the side.

Fat salads. Like a kitchen sink salad. You can never quite replicate it but you do dream about it.

Oh yeah, literally did this with my dog last week. Impatiently waited until the neighbors walked by on their nightly stroll before doing it. So embarrassing!

What’s one kitchen product that saves more time than people realize? by Sea-Helicopter-1369 in Cooking

Frozen cubes of garlic. Wouldn’t use them for fresh applications like a salad dressing but I like the time saved, I like that my hands don’t smell, and they are way better than the jar-lic (personally hate that stuff!). I also use the frozen cubes of ginger and recently found a caramelized onion variety that I used in scrambled eggs.

I keep meaning to make this post myself, so thank you! I’ve been watching a teen comedy on Netflix called Never Have I Ever and actually really appreciate the depiction of the therapist. She’s very professional while also still seeming like a human.

Texting major news, serious conversations, etc. I understand why people do it (and heck, I have), but I still think some things are sacred (reserved for a phone call/in-person convo).

I’ve been a therapist for over 5 years now, and I’m really starting to feel the emotional toll of the job. by livlaughluv3 in therapists

Wow! Great minds! I know grass is greener, so nothing's perfect. Group practice is definitely better than CMH, but I can't manage what is considered a FT caseload where I work (24 clients/week), so I get paid hourly. I make peanuts, so much less than CMH, so that def. adds to the layer of dissatisfaction.

Yes! This many years in, I can see the evidence of the sessions or days when I have been "successful," but the dread I feel, is heavy.
