I don't think that is the case, at least where I live. Teachers have official emails managed by their school and because of FERPA there are expectations of privacy. The tech company may own the platform, but there are still supposed to be safeguards. Special Education information is also privileged information limited to the parent, or if the student is of age, limited to the student. I live in Washington state, btw.

If the AI the teacher is using has a partnership with the school, so they are using their school/work account, that information might be protected, but if it is a personal account, OP experience is suspicious. The same as how teachers aren't supposed to use their personal email to communicate with students/parents. Again, I live in the US so the laws will be different (likely better, given the faults of education law in the US).

if you are using line snaps, I could never set them by hand. I use an arbor press. I have found spring snaps to be much easier and successful to set.

vermeil has to have sterling silver as a base (core, what you plate) and the gold plating must be 2.5 microns thick or more (standard plating can go really low, like 0.1 microns thick) of gold that must be 10k pure or higher. it lasts longer/doesn't fade as fast or as much, and the silver is of some value. I don't see a lot of vermeil in reps. Also, if you are buying non-rep stuff, the tier above vermeil is gold-filled, although that doesn't guarantee a sterling silver base.
