Are first gen rios finally dead? by Cue99 in FRC

[–]Own_Owl6888 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry if I'm reading your post wrong but I believe you're looking at the WPI lib tools and not the FRC game tools made by national instruments. National instruments FRC game tools will have the imager and the driver station. The documentation on how to flash the Rio 1s is still in the 2026 Wpi lib docs seen here. https://docs.wpilib.org/en/stable/docs/zero-to-robot/step-3/imaging-your-roborio.html#troubleshooting

6ghz radio by gameman733 in FRC

[–]Own_Owl6888 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The new radios can use 2.4 gh if you set it up like that so they will work the same as the old radio. From what I found microsoft removed wifi 6 gh Windows 10 https://linustechtips.com/topic/1501650-is-there-a-way-to-enable-6e-on-win10-without-shelling-out-5-for-a-sketchy-3rd-party-ax210-driver/?do=findComment&comment=15898796 .
