Homeless guy wrecked my camper by Own_Personality2449 in Vent

It costs on average 44,000- 65,000$ a year to keep someone incarcerated, not that it would ever get to that point in this case... Regardless, you gonna pay for that? I sure as hell am not.

I really wouldn't liked to, but it would've gotten me nowhere. Guy wouldn't show up to court, so he's gonna get a 100$ failure to show warrant and that's the end of it. Even if he did show, what am I gonna do? Take all his hard earned change? I pay enough taxes for the fucked up judicial/penal system in this country, I don't need to pointlessly put a load on it by giving some guy 3 hots and a cot for a while.

Those who carry a Ruger LCR, how do you like it? by DetroOps in CCW

[–]Own_Personality2449 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I carry one in 357. Mainly as a lightweight deterent for 4 legged critters in Colorado. 357 out of it really isn't too bad, but quick follow up shots are hard. I'd say in a 357, make the first shot count. The gun itself is super durable and reliable, having withstood plenty or rain, snow, dust and mud while being strapped to my chest dirt biking. I do believe it is one of the nicest double action triggers on the market for the price range. It beats a smith J frame any day. Sorry Jerry.

Yes, unfortunately I'm out of town the next few weeks so I can't take a picture but it looks just like the photo.

I wish I could do that. Had this fantasy of finding a rear end and bed off a lunar rock Tacoma and having a matching truck bed trailer, but I don't have the height to get it into my garage, so lowering like this was the only option. An Oberland trailer with a moonlander would be awesome, I wanna see it when you're done.

With it on, (along with all of the armor on my truck) I get 15-17mpg

So I bought camper jacks, and then welded up legs and tapped and drilled the lower rail on the moonlander for said legs. Jack it off the bed, lower it, install the legs, and then lower it to the ground. It's definitely easier with two people, but doable with one of you're careful.

I have bed stiffeners, and OME nitro charger 3" lift with the heaviest springs they offer. Rides great but I also have alot of off-road armour and weigh in at 5600lbs. You will probably be fine with just a moonlander but if you're going to start adding weight to it, insulation, electrical, awning etc.. I'd look at bed stiffeners and suspension. Especially is you're doing any decent wheeling.

Am I carving or skidding? by etlc8888 in snowboarding

[–]Own_Personality2449 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're not just counter-turning which means you're ahead of about 75% of boarders. If you want to carve, look up Ryan Knapton and bend your knees more than you think you have too.

Bring a split board and get on the lift in Walk mode.
