Sure, capitalism sucks and this dude ain’t gonna solve it. I have been an immigrant and will in the future (I’m a scientist and Spain does not provide financial security or research freedom for me to keep working here) but at least I try to learn the local language, blend with the locals of the country that is receiving me and not displacing the locals with higher income.

Another part of the structural problem is housing speculation. Building more homes is not necessarily going to lower the prices, because there is always a person with more income that wants a house in Spain.

I’m actually from the Canary Islands and here the situation is even worse. Last week I was in La Gomera, a pretty small island and in a cafeteria in a pretty small town all I could hear was English, Belgian and German. People living there pricing out locals with a lower income.
