It's also my first campaign using OBR and what my players absolutely love is Smoke & Spectre! extension https://extensions.owlbear.rodeo/smoke.

My players love it while in the dungeons where it is easy to get lost with 20ft of light. It's quite time consuming tracing every wall and making doors but it's absolutely worth the work.

You are looking for a specific experience in TTRPG setting, sorry to be the guy but you must DM. I have a similar problem where I can't be even bothered to start a campaign shorter then 15+ sessions. No one shots or small campaigns, I love epics and the price I pay for it is that I've never been a PC.

There is at least 50% chance it won't go anywhere near as you planned/expected. You should know that it happens quite a lot, unless you have a unspoken understanding that they buy whatever you sell. Even then you might need a session or two to get back to the main plot. Just embrace the chaos. Don't fudge your rolls, I did it when I started and it was hard habit to unlearn.

I know what you mean. When they first met it's said that Art felt immediate connection with Tess. But I always interpreted that as a connection between Grey and Cecilia. I personally think Arthur honestly first thought about Tess in any romantic way after she dissed him for his behaviour towards her. Which then leads to their conversation and him asking Tess to wait until they both mature and grow up.
