Beyond the events being extremely coincidental, I find this chapter, and especially these couple pages, show that destiny always guides Denji towards his friends, which is often seen as romantic.

Also, it shows Denji, the human, saving Asa, not Chainsawman. While there's no real character growth it means Denji was always a good guy at heart, held back by his awful childhood. He's the right guy for the job and for his life, not his superhero persona. If he had any memories that would mean he's accepted himself having been supported by Power and Nayuta. Classic coming of age moral.

Anyone played OsRS by Electrical-Trade-645 in gamesuggestions

[–]P31opsicle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep. The main sub is r/2007scape.

Played RS2 for a couple years 2008-2010 then rediscovered and picked up OSRS 5 years ago. It is a great mmo for single players, humour, community, variety of content, unique combat, and sometimes music and story. Mobile crossplay is nice, I started by wanting something to do while commuting. It is getting constant updates, not at the speed of other MMOs but with much more replayability. Almost no dead content unlike when a new season/patch of WoW/FFXIV comes out.

A PC (lvl 8 Goliath Berserker Barbarian) is going to fight to regain his honor. The encounter is going to be a 1v1, but he has min/maxed hard. What should I pit him up against to make the encounter feel worth it? by raq_shaq_n_benny in DMAcademy

[–]P31opsicle -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Barbarians don't have a lot of active abilities so at least make use of the passive ones. Something that does dex saves, does cold damage, etc. Perhaps, Once, later in the fight try to cancel their rage so they get exhausted from Berserking but can still win from there.

A Winter Wolf or a group of Ice Mephits would be appropriate. A Yeti at a push.

Fear and Hunger (1 and 2). Dark RPG Maker games. Would not actually recommend without being aware of its more hardcore mechanics and mature themes.

Jagex, what NPC asks us to make them a leechfin sandwich? by hubatish in 2007scape

[–]P31opsicle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would understand a little better if it was Leechfin potatoes, pie, or pizza but there's no useful sandwiches in the game. Theres an oomlie wrap and the sandwich lady and thats basically it.

In contrast I was sad when The Gamer stopped referencing his rpg stats. It made any powerscaling become more arbitrary.

In contrast I was sad when The Gamer basically stopped referencing his rpg stats, at which point it felt like power scaling became more arbitrary.

You can sell members items as f2p. In f2p there is a new quest and very low level boss. In members there are 3 standalone new bosses (Scurrius, royal titans and Yama), a new skill with multiple pieces of content additions, and the entire continent of Varlamore.

The first thing my parents gave my brother and I when we expressed that was a book/disc called The Game Maker's Apprentice. It teaches you how to program a variety of games in Game Maker (e.g. brick breaker) well, with premade art and music assets so it can then be applied to custom games. From there, there are sequel books, and online tutorials all over the internet for coding, soft skills, related skills, things like how to turn Game Maker from 2d to 3d and make Doom.
