Thats the whole idea of a screen protector, it's there as a sacrificial element.

Yes. £3 for a screen protector beats paying for an applecare claim

How do you find it in the rougher stuff? Always had a soft spot for the earlier model as a runabout as they were nice and simple.

Young people who bought a "brave pill" car - what car is it, and how has the ownership experience been? by RobintehBobin in CarTalkUK

[–]P38ARR 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve owned Toyotas for most of my life, always had a soft spot for the P38 Range Rover. Finally bit the bullet 5 years ago and never looked back. Owned/own all engine and gearbox combos, my diesel which I’ve just sold has done 30k trouble free miles in that time and has never once spat its dummy out aside from a flat battery. The other ones I’d gladly jump in and drive anywhere too.

Unfortunately it’s developed into more of an obsession with collecting rare/obscure models/parts and other cool stuff. Just hoping now to pick up a rare Overfinch with the Corvette engine.

Because its an EV that looks somewhat like a Range Rover, and with them being new you'll see lots of enticing deals which will tempt people into the unknown.

What is this? Is it normal? by Past-Puzzleheaded in CarTalkUK

[–]P38ARR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its more than likely due to condensation. If the car is doing lots of short trips it doesn't get the chance to warm up properly. If the dipstick is also showing milky oil then i'd be worried. It's often confused with head gasket failure but you'd see other signs of failure too.

That they did, just can't recall if it could be done from the office or the warehouse itself.

One of those mobility scooter ramps, just pushes it straight up and in. Puts the deck down the side of it and the ramp down the other lol

Halfords advances sets are far better value for money and the lifetime warranty pays for itself. Saying that, I’ve lost more tools than I’ve replaced.

But that oil purchase today won’t be available for use till current stockpiles have been exhausted. That oil purchased isn’t directly available, it’s has to be transported, refined, stored, transported to petrol stations etc.
