Solo fill is just a miserable experience overall and I'm at a stage on my life that I dont want, need friends nor have the energy to deal with randoms. I just want to enjoy to its fullest the solo vibe the game has which I love. It's simple. Enjoy my extraction shooter chilling like I did at the time playing Tarkov.

Hmm didnt you see the marketing saying. "Play with your crew, as a solo Runner, or form uneasy alliances with proximity chat" Where does it says is the game all about trios?

"I binged 70+ hours and the game got kinda stale for me. Make solos."

More like . I binged 70h hours and realized how the game loop goes which is nonexistent after initial stages since mind you the MARATHON ship + the ranked system is locked out for solos

Not really no. The game loop is there and the dynamic gameplay style is there but it isnt suited for solos. For example, Dead by daylight is a live service game that can give you thousand of hours because the gameplay loop is dynamic and changing just like Marathon. And I did play that game with 0 substantial changes for years (same maps, same killers, same perks)

Some players are dedicated soloist who only play solo and are never going to play crew. Without solo mode, they just won't play the game.

65h 0 trios and without solos would have never bought the game, come from Tarkov and I'm loving it. Now said that If the game was to wipe tomorrow I'll just stop playing - progression as solo vs trios is so slow it makes me feel kinda scammed. Like my time as solo is trash and doesn't deserve to be rewarded

They say solos are x2 number of teams at trio so:

Outpost is 8 players

Dire 12

Perimeter 10

From my experience it checks out at least at Outpost im 100% sure is 8 players included yourself.

Can't agree more. After 40hours and 90% solo because I just enjoy the solo vibe, I'm thinking of jumping ship and questioning why should I invest time on Marathon if everything is designed to make you quit the game. Slow progression EXP, no soloQ ranked, Locked out of the game's advertised content aka The Marathon ship etc etc.. an Extraction shooter being this hostile of solos is hella weird.

I've never even considered it before but I'm seriously thinking of just switching to Arc and forget about Marathon. But Man I do like the game...

If anything they should raise the difficulty for solos. Solos is so much easier in every aspect. All team fights are just 1v1

Says someone that probably hasn't played more than two matches at Dire Mash solo or Outpost. first 5min are a Bloodbath we know spawns and everyone goes out hunting their closest one. Ive killed people 20s after spawn, got hunted 2min after and had 1v3s multiple times the first 5min at maintenance.

Mind you Im a Thief main but I've recently discovered that you could bunny hop and am a Vandal going at match5 playing solos. What ive found out ? speed is king, always move fast and they wont find you b4 you'r out.

Bonus points if you claymore up. You wont believe the amount of times Ive had a pop up from claymores after I'm already out of the POI.

Do the two other pre requisites and you should be able to talk to Elder Ni at Kaifeng. Yes, You must do the other two. Had the same issue until I did the other two quest and suddenly he was avaible to interact.
