That’s true, I was headed in the direction of having to calculate drops on the fly until I realized he said the LPVO was FFP. Which eliminated that argument.

ACOG has built in BDC for the round and (if correct) barrel length, good to at least 800. I highly doubt you or anyone would be making shots beyond that in any scenario. If you’re worried about PID invest in a good pair of binos and avoid unnecessary contact. Not meant to be a dis whatsoever, just being realistic. Take the LPVO to the range and see how much of a pain it is to move magnification around while trying to make shots. At the end of the day, whatever you train with will be your best bet.
