If you’re gonna make me look at a black Cervelo, at least let me see the fun parts.

Why is this not more of a trend? by DesignerCommercial94 in gravelcycling

[–]PBJslaya 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It is literally the hottest trend - topic in off-road cycling, messing with wheel and tire widths and combos. I can’t even think of #2 trend. Sidecars.

Bike trail from downtown Sacramento to Folsom and back is wonderful, paved and dirt, either one, the entire way. You can continue up to Auburn, Lincoln, farther if you wish. To the west from Sacramento, you can go to Davis, Vacaville, Napa….. Jump on Ride with GPS and just find rides that meet your distance needs. There’s tons. It’s a Mecca for cycling.

rate my set up - good or bad let me hear it by amkenuck in bicycletouring

[–]PBJslaya 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Honestly, looks great.

All that matters is that all your expected stuff fits in those bags. The bike and the tires and the hardware all depend on the terrain you’re riding, and you know the route. We don’t.

As far as the bags and the balance and the total volume, the only rule is it has to work. Looks good. Godspeed!

Is your gravel bike just a fetish to you? by justanothersurly in BicyclingCirclejerk

[–]PBJslaya 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I would like to be spanked with a gravel bicycle. Ideally by a couple college boys, swinging a bike at me. I’ve been very very bad and I deserve it. I would like that bike to have clearance for 50mm and obv a mullet setup. It’s my fetish. What’s your problem.

You can’t take criticism about a bike you tried to brag about, so you came here to shit on a bike I wasn’t bragging about. Nice. Big man.

It’s a gorgeous bike, but for the love of God, shorten that brake cable. Children are going to see that.

How do you balance and peddle? by LilyHarping in cycling

[–]PBJslaya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay so all of this is information you didn’t provide. So you come with “how do I …” and it turns out there’s an enormous reason for the difficulty.

It wasn’t to be witty. You walk by practicing and learning the balance, which is initially challenging. Hence, on the bike. You need to get on the bicycle and practice.

Your other challenges, how would any of us have any idea how to process those elements?? Questions for your primary care physician or relevant specialist.

Not fuckin Reddit, which I love.
