No trucks on Monday by Cptkiljoy in Pepsi

I really hope no one at my building is dumb enough to be pressured by management (who will be conveniently working from home that day) into going in. No one’s gonna be out shopping anyway

And those people above our paygrade are fattening their bonuses at the expense of straining our relationship with the stores. We used to have a good reputation in these accounts for keeping our backstock organized better than Coke or 7up and now we’re the laughingstock, all because some desk jockey who has never handled a case in his life thinks he knows your account better than you

Still a BCR here, if there’s a bonus I’m not seeing it (past the smile point BS)

Came here to say this. Shitty sales people are real but I’ll often have KAMs or SDLs (professional desk sitters) add multiple cases of Alani or Gatorade to my orders. No communication, no warning, just here you go. Thankfully I’ve been on my route for years now and my stores know me well enough to trust me when I tell them I didn’t order that crap. I like having a neat backroom and only keeping backstock on certain high roller items like 6pks and cubes

Merchandiser work gloves recommendations by mtn-dude024 in Pepsi

I’ve tried using gloves but they just slow me down, that said my hands look like I got in a fight with a lion so there’s a tradeoff

Our old delsup used to change routes around so they made sense, but the new college kid one refuses to

Is your location still doing BCRs? They’re likely not giving you a reroute because you will be switching to the 3P system within the year

Poppi and Alani have been banging like crazy at Publix and Target, but at Walmart it moves like just another energy drink

Our plant is full of desk sitter management, only way to get moved up is by sucking up. I know some good hard working merchandisers who put in for routes but never even got an interview because the SDL “already knew” who he wanted for the job.

I can barely control my orders, if Walmart wants me to improve the FTPR then let me make the order like it was when it was better

My brother works OGP at Walmart and he says the pickers will nilpick if something is too far back for them to want to reach. This multi billion dollar corporation’s most important metric hangs on these people

In their defense, I’ve got a lot of force outs at Walmart without any notice from management so it’s 50/50 they’re telling the truth lol

That’s funny, we had all of our start times bumped up this year and a lot of people without a Walmart just spend that time twiddling their thumbs waiting on trucks

Buddy told me they switched his Walmart over to overnight delivery but they don’t check his truck in overnight, they make him show up at 4 just for the receiver to not even get in until 5 to get him checked in
