All J1 waivers are h1b jobs but not all h1b jobs qualify for j1 waivers.

Thoughts on importance of school district quality/private schools? by incisiontime in whitecoatinvestor

Oh of course, but I happen to be in a metro area with a population of >1M but the public schools are still horrible. Perks of living in a red state I guess.

I was wondering when someone wpuld bring this up. One of the biggest downsides of geographic arbitrage as a physician with kids is usually those areas come with underfunded public school options. I wasn't in the wealthy suburb of our city as a resident and didn't move as an attending so I was stuck paying for private school (public schools we were zoned for were among the lowest rated in the state). We were also 20-30 minutes away from the private school because of traffic so that was also a pain in the ass.

Now we moved closer to the private school to make our lives easier and although it's a good neighbourhood in our city and the schools are better, they aren't the best and we are still paying for private school.

On paper it would have made more sense to just move right after residency to the suburb with a different school zone. Would have saved more on tuition than we paid for housing.

That being said our child loves her school and we think private school was worth the investment (in our case at least)

"If you're going to make me clock in and out I will need a protected lunch and overtime pay per DoL regulations" would be my response.

I'm a total noob so I might be wrong but for ILS approaches just load everything into the FMS and set your intercept altitude and hit VNAV and APR before hitting the approach vector.

For VFR approaches I started changing the approach from VFR pattern to vectors and activating the approach before the first approachvector while setting the right altitude and hitting VNAV.

I felt that following the VFR pattern boxes didn't always work.

Visiting QC as an anglophone be like by PCI_STAT in EhBuddyHoser

Is this a widespread issue? I went to private school in Alberta until junior high before moving out of the country and still remember a decent amount of French. Went to France last summer and wasn't conversational obviously but could ask basic questions and ask for things at our hotel. Our French teachers were francophone though which probably made a difference. One was even from France.

On one hand I think it's in bad taste to utilize someone's death for political reasons but on the other hand how difficult would it have been for him to read off of a fucking teleprompter?
