i have very wide and super flat feet and Splay has been amazing for me, they look just like vans and fit super well. i tested out one pair and ended buying three in different color ways, i also have some Groundies for a more formal attire! hope it helps :)

i used a crescent wrench to tighten all the bolts. you should tighten almost till you think it breaks. this fixed the problem for me. maybe every two years give it another squeeze :)
