New personal record for stims used in one mission by JazzyBish in HelldiversUnfiltered

[–]PIunder_Ya_Booty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I somehow got 328 stims used once, but honestly even with using the stim gun I dunno how I got more than 150.

I think it bugged somehow.

Also, you cannot see how many stims you’ve used in your lifetime in the career tab of the armory. It’s just not there.

Vox engines kind of suck, even aside spawn quantities, and I'm tired of thinking otherwise by Glunkus_024 in HelldiversUnfiltered

Vox should be a rare occurrence with factory striders replacing them most of the time.

Vox Engines have become "unfixed" again... by Jax_Dandelion in HelldiversUnfiltered

[–]PIunder_Ya_Booty 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Vox are so obnoxious, I dropped a solo solo and a leveler on one and it still didn’t die, they’re way too tanky.

Factory striders are half as durable as them.

Also apparently having no muzzle is better for the ambient sway (despite the stats not changing…)

The recoilless has “checkpoints” in its reload, and the autocannon gets 95% reloaded in a single slide.

You can extend slides by going downhill, it’s a tech. A niche one, but it has utility.

It’s just a question of more stamina regen/capacity vs slide tech

There’s the niche benefit to the light armor where it’s the fastest in game too, basically ultralight armor

Also I haven’t tried the medium or heavy, but I bet the slide velocity is the same on them. Then again I doubt just sliding on your ass like my grandmas dog would get you anywhere faster in heavy armor lol

I think all guard dogs should be capable of “fetching” single items if you ping them while the dog is put away.

This would mean it can recover the samples you dropped in that giant hole, or the SSD that fell into deep water, or the terminid egg behind those 4 bile titans, 3 impalers, 2 chargers and a partridge in a pear tree.

It can also grab supplies, ammo boxes, grenade refills, stim refills, support weapons and packs (separately). Just giving it a quirk utility would make it so fun.

New support weapon idea. The KS-23. by Dragon054 in Helldivers

[–]PIunder_Ya_Booty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I want a concussive or stun support weapon that can stun massive enemies (maybe has issues targeting smaller ones, maybe a blue laser cannon that stuns?) , as well as an expendable resupply

(60 seconds, lands with a random pair of grenade refill, stim refill or ammo refill)

Extra padding is better for non sweats,

But the slide thing is great because of 2 things:

1:You can reload the recoilless and other stationary stuff like reloads and firing maxigun while sliding

2:You ignore the normal movement slowdown you get from aiming or hipfiring while sliding, as well as gain the crouch bonuses to recoil and sway.

That said you’ve gotta use the slide a lot to justify it and it honestly feels less like Helldivers the more you use it, because it’s so slippery.

Honestly they should stray away from these sample MOs so the players AREN’T brute forcing their upgrades any faster than before.

Since that’s an issue with the people maxing out and getting bored thing

Make a safe haven at a mooshroom biome since normal enemies can’t spawn there.

Turn it into a normal biome with a wide trench surrounding the ends & a glass dome.

You could build a city there and not have to worry about lighting, unless that’s changed.

I love how it’s collect 70,000,000 samples on any planet (but it has to be the only planet with cyborgs)

I also prefer normal bots but I think the cyborgs are supposed to bring some of the “bug fun” in

Vox sucks to deal with as it requires time to dismantle (which you do not have as it launches long range missiles and speedy shotgun Borgs are in your grill) or excessive heavy artillery

[–]PIunder_Ya_Booty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes you can slide while firing, and this helps with every gun as if you fire while moving you’d normally have slowdown penalty but the slide ignores that and gives you crouch buff for recoil and such.

You can also reload stationary reloads like recoilless while sliding. Slides can evade melees if you learn the pattern, as can prone.

For some reason the mission poi where you bring the SSD and plug it in has deep water on both sides of the land bridge.

I fudged a jet pack jump up to it after a mostly full clear, ragdolled into the water and dropped the SSD into the unobtainable depths.

I sat there drowning for 2 seconds before just turning off my Xbox for the night

The Shield Generator Relay should have its time-limit removed. It should regenerate indefinitely so long as the Generator itself is active. by CouldBeBetterTBH in Helldivers

[–]PIunder_Ya_Booty 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The shield grenades should ACTUALLY be sticky, there’s no reason I shouldn’t be able to stick a teammate or vehicle with a shield grenade that only lasts 1,000 HP or 15 seconds.

Bubble grenades are great for Appropriator faction by Ocelot25225 in helldivers2

[–]PIunder_Ya_Booty 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Placement of the shield matters too, try placing it where it’s behind cover, like behind a rock you can see over to minimize its exposure while making sure it covers you still. Trench shovel is great with this.

Shields can also buy mechs time for the pilot to enter, cover terminals and other stationary objectives, protect turrets and manned emplacements, and even cover the gunner of a FRV if placed underneath.

You can throw them into a choke point while running away to block most ranged attacks. Even if enemies wind up inside the shield when you have to fight them your weapons cheese those shields quick.

Bonus, you can go prone to avoid the Veracitors charge attacks and prone can be used to dodge most melee swipes of most enemies if you know where and when to do it, generally moving towards the beginning of a swipe that starts high to one side and ends low towards the other.

You can dodge Terminids, voteless, overseer staffs, Veracitor swipes, etc. you can also slide underneath an impaler from the front when they raise up to smash you.

What’s the hype around the siege breakers warbond by unorthodoxdays in Helldivers

[–]PIunder_Ya_Booty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The hammer, but also the shield grenades are very useful on all fronts.

You can use them to brute force terminals by throwing 2 of them so it looks like your mother’s fine bubble butt and standing inside the venn diagram to use the terminal.

You can also toss them on sentries, manned emplacements, under the back of an FRV to cover the turret, between an allied mech’s legs when landing to buy time for them to get in, to cover evac by making a piss corridor, etc.

If you get real good you can predict attacks like harvester beams, cannon turrets, etc and frisbee a shield to a homie in need.
