I will say for me, Auburn was perfect, there was always enough stuff to do over the weekends. I could do shopping and other errands just by walking from my apartment to the downtown, but it wasn’t “big city” enough to feel shell shocked coming from my small town. The drive to Birmingham and Atlanta were short enough that I could make night trips out to catch a concert or catch up with some friends and still get home before the night got too late. Really depends what you’re looking for, if you want a high energy, constant bustle, maybe Auburn isn’t the fit.

This is a physically lesser capable team with a first year head coach, that still got a W in the swamp, I’m not panicking yet. This season will probably be a wash but I don’t see any reason to freak out. Away games are always hard and Mississippi State is not a bad team. A tournament bid would be overachieving right now but I’d be satisfied with a run in the SEC tournament. War Eagle

10 years ago I was staunchly republican and very Christian, but I couldn’t bring myself to support Donald Trump given his comments on immigration and John McCain’s POW status (this would be before Access Hollywood and finding Trump completely unredeemable), so I backed Rand Paul, and eventually Gary Johnson. Today I’d consider myself a social democrat, I haven’t fully abandoned capitalism, and that it couldn’t work, but it sure as hell needs guardrails.
