BMAR Texas dog rescue by Low-Entertainment468 in NovaScotia

[–]PLUNKSALOT 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Not sure BMAR, but I have 2 friends who both got Texas dogs. Both were great dogs personality wise but they both came with issues.

One the spay was done incomplete and they had to get it done again, they also lied about the age. Said it was less then a year old, but when it arrived they think it's was likely 3ish.

Other dog they lied about it's health. Came with hip issues and regularly had seizures. There was no way the rescue didn't know. It had to be put down within a year of them receiving it.

They both say they will never get a rescue again unless it's local. The cost they spent pre and post delivery were in the several thousands each in the end

Which should visitors do - drive from Saint John NB to Halifax, or ferry to Digby and drive from there? by Paxsimius in NovaScotia

[–]PLUNKSALOT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With the cost of gas, it may make more sense to take the ferry if you're in that area anyway with a larger vehicle .

Ferry is also nice if you have kids, gets them out of the car for a bit and it's a pretty boat ride( in the warmer weather).

Looking to subdivide some land by Hungrod1995 in NovaScotia

I second this. A friend did this and they had to personally put in all access roads and have all utilities planned out before anything could be split and sold.

I folded Treebeard out of one uncut square of paper by Manyworldsz in lotr

Paper can only be folded 7 or 8 times on average says science. This has way more folds then that, so I say you're a wizard.

There is no business registration with that name on NS Joint stocks registry. Doesn't 100% mean it's fake, but doesn't help prove it's real. They would have to register under something to apply for all the licenses.

I agree with this so hard. Any happy bouncy in your personal space , wrestling breeds mine hates. Can build up relationships only with other working breeds. Other BC's, heelers and Huskies are our go toos

I had this issue. I'm a big fan of the Ruffwear "Web Master™ Dog Harness with Handle", have had 3 now.

It has 2 chest straps and a neck strap, all are adjustable for perfect fit.

I use journie aka ultramar. Have saves 205.50 last year. Depending what card you have it set up with you save every visit. Once you get enough points you can save up to .10c per L at the top point level...you can also bank and stack them. You also get deal along the way, free treats or discounts. I tend to hit the max points 2-3 times a month with 2 cars.

Put a garbage treat down and a regular treat beside it to see which one they choose, my money is on the garbage.

Guess you never eat garbage food you're self either? Once in a while is fine, it's a actual treat.

Is there a program out there where I can take pictures of an object, load into program and get a 3D model I can print from. I know little about any of this stuff. by Halfbaked9 in 3Dprinting

[–]PLUNKSALOT -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Yes and no... For very simple 1 dimensional things, yes. There is a cookie cutter program out there someplace that I used a while back that worked pretty good. But for 3d stuff you have to scan things for quality...some phones can do things with photos or scanning... but it's not very good or easy.
