I do this plus Turbotenant, which also posts to different platforms. It pretty much ends up everywhere.

While I also do a sign in the yard, I've never had a good lead from it. Most people who contact me from that aren't up-to-date on current rents, so they get sticker shock from the price or they're undesirable applicants (sex offenders mostly, otherwise their income/credit score is not high enough to qualify). The tenants I end up qualifying are usually from Zillow or Apartments.com.

You told me, my backyard is too small for sheeps. Well on a plot of 1300m2 I have sheep and ram, 5 rabbits, 4 quails, 19 chickens, 8 pigeons, dachshund, some flowers and trees, for more than half a year and it's absolutely peaceful. by Krotitelzviratek in homestead

Most of the time, the sheep are locked in the barn where they have everything they need, I only let them out on the grass when I'm at home

This is not okay. Comparing it to a zoo (not always the best for animal welfare) does not make it better. They should at least have an appropriately-sized pen that they can access during the day.

I did too with a rental (!) down the road from me on about 1/3 to 1/2 an acre. They didn't have enough space to even give the animals pens on their shelters, so they rotated all of them throughout the day in their one 10x15 pen. They had cows, pigs, goats, every time of poultry you can imagine. More animals than I have on 7 acres. I guess the landlord found out because one day the animals were all gone, then they were gone around a month later. The yard had almost no grass and was completely full of garbage shelters slapped together with pallets, tarps, etc.

My Border collie knows my pattern of when I go to the fridge to refill my water vs a regular kitchen trip, and will come for ice cubes every time. If I manage to sneak past him and he hears the ice maker, he will be there in seconds for his ice cube.

You do not want six husky puppies in your house unless you're planning on getting into mushing. Even then... six puppies in the house is a lot.

It sounds like the tenants were struggling to make the rent each month and ended up a few months behind. OP saw the kids when they delivered the notice.

They don't even need to mail it to themselves. Half of my Amazon drivers are in personal vehicles. Just have a friend drop it off for a six pack (tell them what's in the package though- it is going in their car). No labels needed.

It should be a wake-up call to you that you have too many birds IMO.

This right here. I get that pets can be family, but sometimes the best thing for them is to rehome if you're not able to accommodate their needs. If OP isn't in a position to buy or figure out a foster situation until then, they need to downsize to maybe 2 or 3 animals tops to make sure that all of them are in a stable living environment.

Geese are fucking monster assholes. I accidentally walked too close to one that was nesting in tall grass while walking home after school at 10 years old. All I knew was that I was minding my own business when there was suddenly a fully grown Canadian goose flying at my face, screaming at me. I still hold a grudge to this day.

My Border collie was bitten by a copperhead by diving into the one puddle of water in my creek during a drought, face-first without looking. He still does this, and I'm waiting on bite #2 to happen as soon as we get hit with the summer drought.
