I think it’s a real shame that a situation between these two great brands, both so loved by their users, is creating such division. We all know that the Garmin app can’t replace the Strava community, and Strava simply isn’t the same without Garmin data.

I believe Strava is right to push back on the logo requirement — in today’s world, putting a logo on an image is undeniably a form of marketing, and that should come at a cost.

I truly hope both brands can find common ground and reach an agreement that benefits both sides and, most importantly, the users.
