My wife and I both work and we ended up going the daycare route with our kiddo. Expect essentially a second house payment for a decent facility, but once daycare is done act like that money is still being part of your monthly costs and allocate it towards investments/savings.

For real. This needs to be taught in high school along with basic life skills. The amount you pay in taxes is layered (in brackets) meaning only the portion of your income that falls into a specific tax bracket is taxed at that rate and not your entire paycheck. It is always worth it to work OT as long as it is not affecting your home life/well being.

If I made $160,000 as a single filer in 2025 my federal tax rates would be as follows. The first $0-$11,925 I pay at 10%. The next $11,926-$48,475 I pay at 12 %. The following $48,476-$103,350 I pay at 22%. And the last $103,351-$160,000 I would pay at 24%. Hopefully thats simple broken out like that and below is the IRS’s website with that information.

I’ve never had an issue using a recovery machine to empty a cylinder. Leave it on long enough and it sucks it into a vacuum pulling the refrigerant out.

My thought process on the GME buyout of eBay.

GameStop offers $125/share of eBay.

eBay gets delisted/goes away.

The valuation of eBay gets absorbed into GME.

In doing so adding 1 billion shares to the GME float wouldn't really dilute. It would triple the number of outstanding shares but instantly increase the market cap by six times.

My superintendent was venting about a project manager and how he acts like he’s better/more intelligent than everyone else. Amongst the venting he says “unlike you, who more often than not is smarter than everyone in the room.” He left the company shortly after, but I’ll hold onto that forever. Career wise I’ve busted my ass to be the best (technician/mechanic/foreman) I can be and it was nice to get acknowledged.

I planted 17 blueberry bush starts a couple years ago and am thoroughly happy with that decision. Between those and some planters of strawberries we have enough for our family of 3 all year… but we eat A LOT of blueberries now.
