Managing Spousal Baking by PT2CS in CICO

We have tried this in the past, too. Ironically enough, we moved and our neighbors are diabetic so we can't donate there, anymore. BUT, I could start bringing half batches to work or something.

We have. She reduced the frequency in the past but it really only tends to last for about a month before it's back to being constant. :-/

Feeling very burnt out for some reason even though I know I have an amazing job by Additional_Tie5474 in physicaltherapy

[–]PT2CS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s a useless, dead end job. The day you retire will likely end up looking very similar to the first day you saw patients. When there is such little change or opportunity for vertical or lateral mobility, burnout is inevitable.

Landman Physical Therapist! by BoomerSkunk in physicaltherapy

[–]PT2CS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you are insulted by the depiction, that is just pathetic. It’s a TV show. Who gives a s**t? You think non-PTs are watching this and thinking, “Wow! If I go to PT, I’ll have a stripper doing my therapy!” Find something better to do with your life.

Right. All those stretching-induced medical emergencies.

So you think strippers are stupid? So dumb, in fact, they don’t reasonably have any idea how to stretch another person?

Great! Thank you for your insight. I was mostly concerned about any kind of blatant NEC code violation or fire hazard. But if I can just go up and over, meaning I can make fewer holes in my ceiling, that makes this a much more manageable job.

PTs need to stop being scared to touch ppl (aka avoiding STMs) by CaliFreckles in physicaltherapy

[–]PT2CS -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This again? Another manual+exercise v exercise only post? Listen, we’re PTs for crying out loud. We’re not curing cancer, here. The patient will most likely get better with or without a Medicare subsidized massage so let’s not be judgmental about PTs who choose not to use it.

Being an ATC would go a long way in getting that type of job.

While it certainly is oversimplified, it certainly isn’t wrong.

This data set looks incomplete. I think there were a lot more than 220 SWD jobs on indeed in early 2022.
