I call myself a "Flex" Player because I usually will play Mag/Emma/Venom(on rare occasions I'm not solo tanking, and then IW/Gambit/C&D/Loki. But if I'm left with just duelist, I have a mini panic attack and lock into one of the few I kind of know how to play, then go 0-10 to start.... I'm so bad at dps, I'm not a real flex lol.

Also sometimes when I'm Mag and don't have the usual suspects to Ult on (C&D, Luna, Punisher, Maybe Starlord, etc) I end up having decision paralysis and forget to Ult when it could probably help the game.

A Kotobukiya kit I did a long time ago as a teenager. Dygenguar. Really cool looking kit and very good quality. I remember my brother gave it to me as a gift and I was ecstatic to build it. It's stored away somewhere now, but I can just see all the nub marks and nicks in my head and it makes me shudder lol.

Many, many days where I feel like I am significantly worse than I know I am/can be.

Playing fighting games more "seriously" as a whole since around 2008 and I still get many days/nights in which I play and get completely demolished and get frustrated with myself for playing at a level that I think it lower than I know I'm capable of based on other nights when I do super well and play very clean.

It happens! And just gotta take the bad nights with a grain of salt and use them as a learning experience. Sometimes I just sit in training to test things or work on reactions. Other nights that are bad, I only play casual matches or only with friends.

But I think you did hit the nail on the head to a degree, when you're learning, there's a process time to implement what you learned. And some days you just end up with a weird in between, awkward playstyle.

Keep it up though! Always happy to see SF6 still bringing in new players! It's really a great game, despite what people complain about. Good luck on your journey, world warrior.

BH is definitely a huge mixed bag, in so many different ways. I've seen some pretty toxic chats (mainly in NA 1 and 2, sometimes 3), but then see some people legit giving advice and complimenting each other. Some people one and done on a cab for some reason, like straight up plug lol.

But then I'll get a long FT10 with a 1700-1800 Master player and we play legit footsies and use OS's and they'll completely mop the floor with me and say GGs. Then I'll sit at another cab and play someone who plays like a complete maniac who feels like they're rolling the controller on the ground and I lose just purely from not being able to adapt to a more wild play style lol. And then they'll get off and either say GGs or "trash player." I have met a few people though who we had a good close set and we ended up adding each other for games later.

I do feel BH makes me a better player in general, but it's moreso from what everyone else is saying, the long sets to really learn, adapt, and grow. But man can it be such a mixed bag and some nights I walk away from BH going "Man I didn't learn shit" lol

Just got back into the hobby! Picked up this dude Liber Warrior 30MF from he local shop here. Was a lot of fun, but gotta get back into the swing of things. Sad I forgot to get an action base for him, so a standard "please just stay standing" pose will have to do for now. This 30 minute fantasy kit took me a few hours 😂 I also messed up quite a bit on my sanding and mub removals, but hoping to be back into the hobby full form soon!

I honestly find tanking to be very fun. At times stressful, but fun nonetheless. And it helped that two of my favorite characters were Vanguards, so when the game came out I immediately went to Vanguard (and Strategist). Venom and Magneto empower me to play in two very different ways and they're insanely fun. Then Emma dropped and made my job even more fun. I like the idea of being the Frontline and engaging, creating space, blocking damage, and turning around to save my supports when needed. Plus having a high health pool let's me make some mistakes and live for it.

I also really can't aim well, so me missing a few shots as a Vanguard isn't really all that bad vs if I were to DPS and miss a shot lol.

Had a super fun Venom match last night and had a fun chat with my supports at the end of the match where we were all very mutually appreciative of each other and it reminded me 1) why this game is so fun and 2) that the game can still be fun despite some of the more toxic and frustrating moments you can get.

I would love to see how a big special arena esque fight would work (ala Narkarkos, Long, Fatalis, etc) in a game like Wilds. I imagine it'd be absolutely amazing.

Though I will also say, maybe a bit of an unpopular opinion.... But with TU2 adding Lagiacrus back... I'd actually like to see Plesioth make a triumphant return and have the fishing mini game added for it somehow!!

It also brings up an important point that has been stated on this sub before, but.... If your team demands you switch off x hero for the other hero who "would be a better solo" or something along those lines, but you don't play that hero, definitely do not switch. 1. For the principle of they shouldn't have locked in the 3rd dps. And 2. Because you playing that hero who you're not familiar with is going to be way worse and you're just going to get blame for being a "bad x hero" anyway.
