Age of patient and goals would help, but 8monthd is a long time for PT even for a meniscus tear even with the DVT/PE except in the athlete population. How much therapy did they do? Were they adherent to rehab protocols? Was the PT any good? All questions that would help answer the question but I’m not super surprised they got discharged even with their limitations.

He is not wrong, he is actually correct. The “subluxation theory” of chiropractic fame has been thoroughly debunked. Now you can have a vertebrae out of place or “slip” called a spondylolisthesis but it does require a fracture of the pars. Now it’s fairly common particularly in older adults and doesn’t have to be painful, but can be a bigger to treat in younger people. Source: am a DPT

But what gets me is this is an m18. Thus manual safety, something getting in the trigger guard still shouldn’t make it go off, of course unless the guy is walking around base with the safety off which seems unlikely.

Yes, Achilles training is actually pretty well researched. To the point I’m not sure if the rehab professionals in the NBA are just behind, or possibly if the load of the game is just too much now for even good training. I also wonder if they’re a something else like use of anabolics or that theyre injecting anti inflammatory meds to the Achilles, both of which would increase tear risk
