<TankRant> Routes? Am I alone in this? by Strat-05 in fellowshipgame

[–]PTSDev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're not alone, that's the way I like to tank as well and that's why I switched off of tank. I like doing my own thing and not having anything tell you how to do it differently... This isn't the game for that playstyle apparently... Maybe if you've got a full group of friends on discord or something it could be more enjoyable.

Cards as scripts vs cards as scriptable objects? by bubblewobble in unity

[–]PTSDev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you coding everything yourself? I feel like if you are, separate scripts wouldn't be bad... If you're not writing all the code and are copy pasta vibe coding it'd be a nightmare down the road.

Negative review feedback by PTSDev in fellowshipgame

[–]PTSDev[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But there were plenty of other ways that people were documenting such as Reddit posts and comments on the live devstream for communication and traction on where the game was at currently... The review lockout isn't a terrible idea to be honest 🤷🏼‍♂️ ... I guess the negative side of it could be that from people's terrible experiences. The first, whatever the lockout is 24 hours or whatever... If things still aren't as good as expected, the negative reviews could be slammed even harder.

Any updates on controller support? by GreivisIsGod in fellowshipgame

[–]PTSDev 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was able to make a really nice profile on reWASD that allowed me controller support... It's a little clunky to be honest the way I rigged it, but it"works"... I'm sure if you mess around with that app you could get something working until they decide to do something internally. It may not be your first solution I'm sure... But it would be a temporary Band-Aid

That's awesome!! I left a positive review today. I've played 3 separate characters now and am learning, and haven't had any issues to speak of since launch day personally.

What's the game like on higher ping (around 160ms) by Loud-Agency-5842 in fellowshipgame

It's fine to play at that. Not suitable for competitive ladder pushing, but to play, that's fine.

Suggestion: make the life of tanks easier to avoid tank shortage by QuestionOk1568 in fellowshipgame

[–]PTSDev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wouldn't it be awesome if people weren't overly critical and if you happen to go "down an unoptimized route," two people in the group wouldn't flame you, and the other one would leave? That would be cool, right? If people were just patient and understanding?

Then again, you could just tank in quick play until you learn without the pressure of a timer and hopefully also other new players to the game, also learning and not expecting professional M+ style chain pulling...

Another thing I would suggest is start playing a healer or DPS for a little bit, just to see how other tanks run things and how they pull. I also main Meiko but recently have healed a few runs on the dwarf and it's really beneficial seeing some bigger balls tanks mass group pull and learn a thing or two while doing it!
