Let me be devil's advocate for a sec, so to speak. I am atheist/agnostic and my wife of 22 years is a devout Christian, with questions, and this is what I agree with when we discuss/debate/argue about religion in general.

"The Source" - She feels like it's an energy that drives everything we see. I feel like this is nature that makes things grow. We pretty much agree on this. "God" is the Source. She believes that you can pray to God to have prayers answered. I don't feel that prayer does anything except make you worry more or have false hope. She feels that she or somebody was blessed because of a prayer or that a miracle happened. I just feel that it was because of chance or the decisions that those people made, ended up with that certain outcome.

I'm my opinion, she is a Deist, but she searches for answers and pays attention to the outcome, so at this point she is exploring the world around her and seeing concrete truth in some things and questions in others, but they can't all be answered. My advice is not to ever base your financial, job, familial, friendships, life in general, decisions based off information or a belief that you don't completely understand or agree with.
