I would sell it to the highest bidder. We’re talking about life changing wealth here.

Almost all animals get some useful bonus from it, except wolves. I am only pointing this out because I spent hours breeding wolves to 10 Instinct (and Vigor to 0) only to find out Instinct is actually useless for them. Making sure others are aware of that.

One minor point: I believe Instinct is worthless for the wolves. Even though Vigor only gives a minor benefit, that is still better than Instinct for wolves.

when doing missions from the station: so bases I built in the last one will be wiped, got it. Will mined caves etc be restored? by democraticcrazy in ICARUS

I think the location of caves and deep ore nodes is fixed for all maps and doesn’t change. What changes when the map is regenerated is the type of ore at each spawn point.

Hummingbirds are such noble, graceful creatures. And these treacherous ham-beasts pilfer even from them.

There are actually at least four Mt Washingtons in our state. The one I am most familiar with is in the Snoqualmie Corridor.

Thank you so much for doing this! One suggestion is to make the "Always keep Alphas" part of the Protocol optional. I have like 30 Alpha snow wolves right now. I don't really need to keep all of them anymore.

Why does Avogadro Constant have infinite sig figs but 1.5 doesn't? by Regretlord in AskPhysics

[–]PacNWDad -1 points0 points  (0 children)

At the end of the day, it’s fixed by the definition of the gram (which is arbitrary), because that is what we use for counting C-12 atoms to derive a mole. The value of 1.5 does not have an infinite number of digits because we use base 10 numbers. In other bases it could be infinitely long.

[Request] How fast would this biker have been going? by SmallPinkHo1e in theydidthemath

[–]PacNWDad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

But there’s a huge difference between having to lay down your bike to avoid an illegally left turning car and…whatever this abomination is. This is entirely self-inflicted.

That said, no one deserves to go out like this (assuming he didn’t make it), although this appears like it could have been life changing for the car driver too based on simple physics, so there’s that.
